Thanks all. We're going to miss her awfully. It might well be a fair old while before we consider a new cat, given her temperament.
How many of you have cats that play fetch?
Never had a cat do this before, but celestra does it and i did not even teach her, i just threw her toy mouse and she always brings it back to me, even taps my foot sometimes to let me know she dropped it for me! I have a video, but not sure where to post it to embed it on the forum

I taught one of my old cats, (half maine-****- still around and 18 years old!) to fetch. She used to love me flicking a little wedge of folded paper with an elastic band- she'd jump and nearly flip over backwards to catch them, but always wanted to continue playing when she had it, so I used to flick it and hide round the corner so she couldn't see me, and she started picking it up and coming to find me.
I did worry that she'd start randomly picking them up and hassling me at 3am to play, but she never did- it was always me that initiated the game.
Mine doesn't fetch, but he will play chase. He'll jump out on me in one room and then charge off to another room expecting me to follow. When I find him, I'll run back to another room and he'll chase again. Rinse and repeat. How many of you have cats that play fetch?

I’m really sad to say that my recent kitty who was only 13 weeks old was put down yesterday
There was over £8000 worth of vet bills to try and save her.
She had a respiratory problem and was struggling to breathe.
I can’t even put into words how sad I am.
The above was when she was happier, the below is the last picture I have of her when she came home from the initial blood tests, x rays, scans etc. She left us yesterday afternoon after being rushed to a specialist hospital in Solihul….

The above was when she was happier, the below is the last picture I have of her when she came home from the initial blood tests, x rays, scans etc on Saturday. They initially thought it was an infection on the lungs and prescribed antibiotics which we were giving her with a syringe. She began losing her appetite and she didn’t seem to be getting any better.
She left us yesterday afternoon after being rushed to a specialist hospital in Solihull after her condition deteriorated….Having to authorise losing her was the worst feeling.
