Steam sale now .... Off

Bought a couple more today. Im pretty new to PC gaming although a console vet. Not got the greatest spec laptop but it runs most things I chuck at it ok. I have a Series X and PS5 for the big games, got myself a few things to keep me occupied for an hour or so in between doing some work. All games I've played on console in the past. I had 3 years of gamepass stacked up form a while back but that’s coming to an end soon and I won't be resubscribing. I just don't think it is worth the money. Spent less than 2 months subscription on these:

Star Wars BF 2
Doom
World War Z
Broken Sword Shadow of the Templars Reforged.

My brother suggested I get Jurassic World and as it was only £2.49 I thought why not/ The other games were on my Steam wishlist for ages and I thought I might as well get them whilst on a good price even if I don't play them right away but I was aware all three were pretty good games so looking forward to experiencing them sometime.

Yes it is. If you like the movies it takes a minute to adjust to the characters being a bit different but the story is great and gameplay was good. Its not the greatest game of all time but think a lot of people avoided it after Avengers disappointed but its well worth a play through and for a fiver its worth the punt. I played it just as it was leaving gamepass and rushed through it, was disappointed I left it so late and have ended up buying it in this sale to play through again when I have a bit more time to appreciate it
 
Tempted to buy Ghost Of Tsushima , ive heard it gets very repetitive?
Considering im more into clearing POI`s and combat ie gameplay than story im wondering if its for me.
I did play the first 4-5 hours on a friends PS5 last year, it was good but slow starter.
 
I tried playing red dead 2 on ps5 but can’t play with a controller unless it’s a racing game might pick it up on steam for £15 and try again

It's a superb game, and fits your tastes ( open world / POI, combat ). The story is decent and serves as a mechanism to keep the player moving along, but you can just lose yourself exploring the world for hours on end.

Too expansive for me…a game has got to be sub 20 for me to bite….:p

It will be years before cyberpunk drops to 9.99 levels…lol
