Play it now, it’s great.
Death Stranding imo is a great game.
It does divide opinion mind. But it's unique and must be tried.
I would say you could always refund but the intros go on for about 2hrs!

Also opens up massively after quite a long tutorial area.
Picked up Planet Coaster 2. Plenty to keep me busy for my 9 week holiday.
It does, you can just launch the game directly without opening GOG.
Yes its DRM free, you don't have to use the GOG launcher, just that a lot of people won't consider buying any game outside Steam
I don't have a backlog. I just have a library of games I can choose to play at any time. Backlog just makes it sound like a job.
Was hoping the crpg Colony Ship would reduce but they never seem to put it below £16. Tempted by Silent Hill 2 though for £20.

I was going to buy some stuff from the Steam sale but I'm more into getting older games from the 90's up to the mid 2000's working nicely. Bought Resident Evil 2 on GOG and spent a bit of time converting to the source next version and installing the classic rebirth mod, HD textures and the high quality audio and a few other QOL mods. Probably going to buy SWAT 4 today as well as I've seen there's some nice mods for modern computers for that game too and I never got to play it when it first came out. GOG sales this summer it will probably be for me, if you don't mind tinkering and some dated graphics and/or janky gameplay, there's a lot of value in older games.
Shadow of war/Mordor are great games, especially when you get to end game and seige enemy keeps
True. I got Wukong recently for £28 and playing that. But might pause that and go back and complete Silent Hill 2. I am like 70% done by the looks of it. Then go back to Wukong and play that and FF7 Rebirth together.
At the rate I am going will be xmas by the time I complete those two
I am in the same position as you for Colony Ship. Want it, but why pay a premium now when it will just sit there and by the time I play will be on sale for a fiver
My next day one purchase game likely will be Resident Evil 9. I will only buy games now when on mega discount. Well, try to anyway
Same here, I really enjoyed Expanse game and so the Star Trek game was an instant buy with 75% off
