I have to say, I caved and bought it...

Loving the game itself, ranged combat isnt too bad really, melee is ok. Just hit Alt before they attack and your out of range, then use powered up attack to get through their shield.

Just moved onto the second area and removed my first base.

When I played in early BETA, combat was far worse, it actually put me off the game full stop. So some improvements have been made.

Later on you wont even need to do that, you'll just shoot them through their shields

Avoid the drumsand as that will turn the worm indicator red almost instantly. I would also try and get the bike booster ASAP as it helps with top speed.

One of the very few games that I don't mind starting over with a new character. After losing everything due to a stupid mistake on my part I decided to reroll a new character. Just got to the 2nd area myself and now the grind begins

Working through the final part of my Duralinium stage but boy is it tough with the water requirements and waiting on the Aluminium to complete (they take ages) to then be combined with the Jasmium.

Just made my first rocket pods for my Scout Ornithopter.... might brave the Deep Desert tomorrow in the PvE area

Had my first run to the Deep Desert myself yesterday. Must have got lucky because I didnt get attacked at all. Didnt have a Lev 5 Cutteray so couldnt farm Titanium or Stravidium. But will next time! Did manage to farm a load of other useful mats though and some Spice.

So does the Coreolis Storm on tuesday wipe everything, as in even all peoples bases? So get anything in storage out on Monday?

I keep checking the official Discord but can't see any guilds on mine.

Yeah I'm at that stage where Water is a nightmare. I jumped on this morning to check and do some base stuff and I had barely any to process minerals with.

Lol how are you struggling with water? You can auto sustain yourself with water easily during the end game part

It only wipes bases in the deep desert AFAIK. All resources on the map get wiped though, so it means you need to rescan the areas again.

Curious how you lost everything in one go? Thats a scary proposition lol!

55 hours in and almost able to build my first Orni. If it all went to pot, id be most unhappy haha!

I was working on expanding my base and accidentally demolished the sub fief console. Everything just vanished after a minute or so. All my materials and machines etc were gone.

Build some wind traps and water storage.....

I'm intrigued to see if my primrose plant loop that I do for Dew collection is still doable after the Coriolis Storm. I could get 40-50,000 litres of water per run every day to top up my water needs in about 5 minutes of running around with a Shigawire claw, Suspensor belt and a Mk4 Dew Reaper.

Yep, just checked and I've lost some Aluminum nodes that were nearby that have been replaced by Basalt, but the Primrose have remained so that's a loss/win

I reached the final tier resources and that was mostly it for me. I enjoyed it immensely when I was playing and would return for more PvE focused content if they include it.

Much the same for me really, was an enjoyable run, did everything there is PvE wise, built up a sexy looking base, built all the vehicles and that was enough for me. At that point I was finding that I was logging in and just sitting around not doing much, so have called time on the game for now. Got well over 100 hours out of it though. Abiotic Factor is out later this month so that will be my replacement crafty/survivaly game

Careful. If you don't login for over 20 days your base may be gone. You need to pay tax every 20 days and keep up with the electricity
