just wait for 'drunk & uninsured driver crashes into my car for the 3rd time' in a few monthsProbably a year's ban for being drunk. Getting insurance afterwards will be the real punishment.

It's in the insurance co's interest to get it turned around quickly as they'll start getting charged storage fees by the assessor once it's confirmed as being written off.
just over a year ago my wife was in a no fault accident... must have been well over £50k of carnage. (her car written off, honda civic written off, a 3rd car heavily damaged, and the big one....... an ambulance written off inc damage to equipment in the back.... i have no idea what a loaded ambulance is worth but surely not cheap? It wont affect my no claims but Im sure my premium will go up come renewal

we expected our premiums to go up but in actual fact they didnt....... not after a bit of haggling anyway.

£150-250k depending on who's on board (the more medically qualified the more gucci the kit), we know this from the Novichok incident where we had to bury two brand new amubulances!
Seems odd they buried them when that doesn't neutralise it. It's now in the soil too.
Not really, they were buried in a hazardous waste landfill site, there were 20+ emergency vehicles buried along with them, the ambos were by far the most expensive ticket items but it's still an insanely costly excercise
wowsers i knew that was nasty stuff but didnt know it was that bad!.£150-250k depending on who's on board (the more medically qualified the more gucci the kit), we know this from the Novichok incident where we had to bury two brand new amubulances!
It could still leech in to the soil eventually though.
Nasher an expert on Biohazard control now too.Seems odd they buried them when that doesn't neutralise it. It's now in the soil too.
Fire is pretty much the only thing which is going to destroy it.

we (interested members of the insurance club) want to know how/where he is parking his lovely blue replacement M5.
Odd thread to post that in, but replacing a bumper is a really easy, although a little fiddly, job to do. The only tricky bit is swapping over the rear parking sensors. One thing to note though, is that although the colour code may be the same (assuming you have a white car) plan on needing it painting to match, as it will very likely have faded differently to how your car did. You may get lucky though.
Read expecting pics of crashed Ferrari F40.Last night I complety crashed my F40 rear bumper
