It's too hot :(

I hate the heat and there's been no relief for months now, can't remember the last time I slept properly! Might grab my steam deck and a camping chair and spend the rest of the day in the chilled aisle in Morrisons!
Not just me then! Barely getting 3 hours a night, spending a good hour each night murdering mosquitos in the bedroom as well, 9 last night, and 1 still evaded me and waited till all the lights were off to buzz around my head and try and bite me!
The steam deck chilled aisle sounds like a good shout, we should do a LAN down there

I sleep with a fan on me all night, can go from 2am til 8am.

Wheeled the AC out of the cupboard. Let the electric bill madness begin!

Yup, I've always said we're going to get A/C fitted in the bedrooms in our next house (still a couple of years away), now wondering if it's worth going ahead with it here as well (chances of adding any value?)

On Thursday the job i did was to remove all the old worn out rubber track pads and fit new ones
78 pads with 4 bolts per rubber pad. Lets just say to torque 312 bolts up in this heat a bit of a killer

Not on this actual 9 ton Excavator, But on a model the exactly the same

Just woke up, I work nights.
Feels hot, bugger.

At work we were chatting about if the boss gave us an option to finish at 11am or 12 and come back into work at say 6pm would we do it
Almost everyone said no mainly due to by the time you drove home, showered, changed clothes, had dinner and then travelled to somewhere and then repeat for the time to get back home changed back into work clothes and then travel time again back to work

Split shifts are horrible and soul destroying so I wouldn't either.

44% humidity in my living room at the moment - was in the low 50's yesterday, so deffo less humid here - doesnt feel it though!

Has started to get a bit less comfortable the last hour or so, though still not as bad as yesterday so far for feeling sticky and horrid.

I can't play computer games as my gaming machine is in my bedroom so it would be intollerable. So im stuck on my office (ex-gaming machine) machine dowstairs where it's cooler, but this machine only has an rx480.

Could still game on the RX 480 :p though would equally warm the room up I suppose!

Could always get a fibre optic display cable and put the PC in another room :)
