Would ABS on a motorbike do the following

1) New riders trusting ABS, so they'll not learn proper brake progression control, be ham fisted on brake
2) Not having ABS - therefore more wary of braking knowing you can lose traction so be more delicate on the brakes.
I have never had a bike with an ABS. In my home country I have a 180cc bike and I managed well with a front single disc and rear drum brakes (had a couple of had a layer down moments but nothing sinister). Although my bike here is a lot more powerful (1100 cc) it is an old bike with no ABS. However, it does have a Combined Braking System (CBS) where both brakes are applied regardless of which brake is applied. I won't go into the details of the theory on how it works.

As others have said above, one normally does not need ABS and the use of it is in that one rare scenario. Not gonna say I am against ABS or CBS, personally I would rather have it than not. When taking lessons for my DAS and practicing the emergency braking, ABS was kicking in on the Z650. I didn't like the feeling of the rear brake pedal pushing back on my right foot. It was very weird and something I wasnt used to in my 15 years of riding. But again i understand it is for safety.

I would advise practicing more, ride more and gain more experience. Nothing will teach you more than your time in the saddle. :)

Pfffft - I've got a 500cc bike with a single front disc and drum brakes.......

I don't so much "brake" as "apply gentle retardation......."

The 9 has no rider aids at all

Yeah, they're really bad, like proper chinesium junk.

There's another one, again not that old, and rusty as hell.

Compared to japaense one that's from the 80's which is still shiny this honda really looks smart

Tried a few bikes out. Didn't like riding position of lexmoto lx-r also felt heavy

Tried grom and monkeybike they were cool . Tried super cub 125

Some are too big just felt huge

Honda cb-125r felt nice and zontes G1 scrambler was fine.
