HmmTried again turned on VSR and no options above 1080p in desktop
I'm running DVI to HDMI but the output format shouldn't matter the scaling is all internal
Googling seems quite a few have had this issue but there seems no fix
Is it normal for the screen to go black after you hit apply in the tuning settings? I was seeing what score I could get with the new 7800x3d I just bought, and when I hit apply, the screen went black and I had to force restart the PC
I had it at -150mv when the screen went black, but -80mv was ok
It can do if you set something too aggressive for your particular card.Is it normal for the screen to go black after you hit apply in the tuning settings? Good to know because it normally just crashes in Timespy if I use unstable settingsIt can do if you set something too aggressive for your particular card.
Yeah I wasn't going to use it in games, just Timespy.I'm sure I used the same settings a couple of months ago using the 7600x and it was fine, but I could be wrong150mv is a bit much. Great if it can handle that, but that is a lot. GPU driver crashing .
I think max i got was 110mv and even then driver crashed in certain games.
Drivers tend to change max UV a huge amount. Initially with a Nitro+ I couldn't complete a Steel Nomad run above -75mV but after a certain driver update, I was able to consistently hit -110mV.Yeah I wasn't going to use it in games, just Timespy.I'm sure I used the same settings a couple of months ago using the 7600x and it was fine, but I could be wrong
Not ran GTA V yet but heres about 4 hours of DayZ pretty much maxed out at 1080p, correct me if Im wrong but I think the max clocks and power usage might show that GTA V wont give much more in higher temps than what DayZ gives, at least at the resolution I use. I know this will be stock fan curve as it resets itself randomly but I have uninstall Afterburner since this run and it has only reset itself once so farAnyone got and gaming temps for Samsung memory on stock fan profile
If you are having problems with settings going back to default. Disable windows fast boot. I would also save settings so you can reapply them quickly. Not ran GTA V yet but heres about 4 hours of DayZ pretty much maxed out at 1080p, correct me if Im wrong but I think the max clocks and power usage might show that GTA V wont give much more in higher temps than what DayZ gives, at least at the resolution I use. This was with a UV -50 with Power limit set to max.

If thats the option in Windows Power Settings then its already disabled or are you talking about the BIOS one?If you are having problems with settings going back to default. Disable windows fast boot. I would also save settings so you can reapply them quickly.
Yea CSM is disabled and PCIE Link is off, will have to check Fast Boot, cant remember what its set at since installing this X670E board in May.. cheersDisable CSM , disable Fast boot in bios and turn PCIE link power state to off in windows
RAM height is also something to look out for with the Arctic AIO's cos of the rad thickness.Just to note, I have looked at Arctic Freezer 3's again in more detail and they have 38mm rads with 25mm fans so theres no chance of me putting an Arctic rad up topI will look for a new case, at least then I can take my AM4 2200G system out of that old ass Zalman case and put it into this Corsair 400C
