I'm genuinely wondering why you're avoiding the jap stuff. A used Jap 125 will last you ages and you'll sell it for marginally less than you bought it for. If it's for financial reasons, just buy one that's a bit older / higher mileage and use that. Kymco / Zontes / Sym / Lexmoto / whatever might not necessarily be crap bikes, but you'll lose a ton more on them.

yes you can lower them usually, the question is do you really need to? I'm a short arse with little legs and I've never had an issue with the height of any bikes I've ridden.Is it possible to bring down a motorbike down a step or will bottom of engine/frame touch the ground? 17cm height and 67cm depth.
