Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

What happens if no one ends up buying him and he has a stinker of a season? He is worth nothing then and you have a player that doesn't want to be there. He has had 1 good season.

He is a massive risk for Utd so it does go both ways.
I think him having one good season is a tad unfair. He's been building and building over the last few seasons, and had probably been our most consistent performer for a good 3 years. We'd be delighted to hold on to him another year as he's likely to continue improving and could be even more impactful next season. Fortunately our backroom staff have seen him train, play and improve virtually every day for the last six seasons... so they'd be delighted to keep him another great.

Your approach seems to imply that goalscoring is the be all... but Mbuemo's value is only partly down to his goals. He's work rate, tracking back, defensive value, set pieces, flexibility, attitude, etc. make him an extraordinarily valuable asset to any side.

Your message reads as if you didn't really know who he was until last season.

Think we should go for Bruno Guimaraes as well, just to really show em whose boss.

And then sign ekitike for laughs
Ack sure you lot spent a whole season having a tommy tank over Bruno two seasons ago when you thought you had a chance.

You get that News from the BBC? As every other report states that want him to play alongside Isak

No-one believes you want Ekitike to come and play alongside Isak though, despite the briefings. Much like no-one believes that Isak isn't for sale at any price.

Which position/player are you dropping to make that possible?

That Luke Edwards now saying there's a £120m bid being prepped and Isak's agent has already met with Howe, this all before Newcastle's public pursuit of Ekitike.

I know, it’s fun though, Clarky will be in full bigpig mode when Isak scores hat trick against them in the second game of the season
I would say let's put a name change bet up that he'll be a liverpool player by the end of the month, but we all know you dont go through with them :p

Well considering you imagine most of what you attribute to United fans...

It's strange, I think most of us United fans know and admit how poor we've been in the transfer window (last minute panick buys, loan deals for old center forwards, paying way over the odds for young players from foreign leagues etc or the players we've signed being injury prone).

So far it doesn't look like much has changed this window.

In fact I'll only believe we've signed a player once they've been announced, played for us for 10 years and they've had a testimonial match played in their honour.

That wasn’t Puke Edwards mate.

That was the Times and here’s a snippet from the article.

The Times understands that the agent of Isak met Eddie Howe, the Newcastle head coach, at the club’s training ground this month.
Newcastle had been eager to discuss a new deal to make the Sweden striker the best paid player in the club’s history.

Being the best paid player at Newcastle is a bit like being the shiniest car in the Skoda showroom

Yep, he’s in the top 3 strikers in the world, of course real will want him, and Barca will always be able to fiddle the books, if he’s given the choice of Liverpool this season or barca or real next season, there’s only 1 winner
I think that's somewhat hopeful of you. Real already struggle to fit all their forwards into the side and have shown a clear move towards targeting players on frees and or with low release clauses. I'm not sure it makes much sense for them to pay £100m+ to sign a player they don't need. As for Barca, I wouldn't put anything past them but they've got no money. I'm not sure who or what they'd have to sell to be able to sign him.
