yeah those would come in handy, would I have to fix them or should be ok as long as they "bite" into the concrete ground so no chance of sliding in use.

The step is quite rough so if it had some kind of sawtooth feet shouldn't slide forward as it's bite into it rather than just slide.

If they’re like the ones I use, they anchor into the ground via a bolt.

Yeah but the step could be a problem if they're permanently fixed, when I want to go up and down them.

Depends on how often I take bike into the garden, if they get in the way under foot when not using the bike, taking the bin out etc

also steps are higher than the ramps so they'll be a slight bump but at least stop any chance of scraping edge of step.

You can anchor them but I've never bothered and I've been using them on gravel and it's never shot out the back :D
Bearing in mind I've been actually riding it up them out of the garden rather than just pushing it up so if it was going to get fired out the back by the wheel it would have done by now.

Used for both my Honda Blackbird and Street triple, the Honda being about 250kg so 350+ with me on it and packing plenty of power without issue.

Hey, those bikes are stunning, I'm new here, always thought this place was for computers haha, been looking for a few working forums for motorcycle advice, mechanically speaking.

I love my Daytona Roadstars but they are significantly more expensive than the Spadas. After I had a broken leg in a collision I don't skimp on boots.

The ones I use (which aren't anchored and are easy to remove)..

any recommendations for boots? I tried Spada Braker in 46 but they're still too tight around toes.
47 is out of stock.
I've got Sidi ST boots which are superbly made but expensive & some TCX ankle boots which I always end up wearing because they're more comfortable.
Safety wise, a tall boot would be better imo.

The local shop has "Bike It Burhou "in stock, I'll give them another try. I think the ankle was slipping upwards slightly when walking in them. But they felt roomier on the toes.

I noticed motorcycle boots with laces exist, don't they come loose? I would have thought with laced boots they'd be a velcro cover, like bicycle shoes.

They do (same as mine)..

yeah guess the problem with slip on is they have to fit 100% right...with laces got adjustment. Although with velcro they have finite life, with my cycling boots the velco lace strap is loose the velcro has worn out

Your problem will be if you have big old wide feet like me, in that case just order everything off Sportsbikeshop and return all but the one pair that are just about passable as fitting :o I've worn Dainese Fulcrums of various models for the last 7 or 8 years. Not flashy looking but comfortable and decent CE rating.
