decided not to go for it, nothing wrong it's just too early as I don't have provisional, so neither me nor qualified mate can ride it. and I'll have no insurance until I do. I'll get provisional then CBT sorted then look for a bike,

too much red tape nonsense.

Provisional is literally just paperwork.

yeah but it's holding everything up. It's also SORN, he can't ride it, I can't ride it. No insurance in transport, no insurance whilst it's in my possession until I get provisional.

Well we ride it, could but fine, points, ban, bike crushed etc lol. damn annoying.

Dealers bikes are rip off for second hand bikes, like not much cheaper than new....and new bikes mean stupid insurance prices.

Yeah that does suck, and raises questions as to why it's SORN.

The courier will be insured, so that's not a concern.

As for dealer prices, they will usually come with warranty and are generally checked over quite well before hitting the dealer floor, so you're not stuck with someone else's shed.

Yep. With a car license you're allowed a 50cc moped, that's it.

Oddly it also doesn't need L plates, but a 125 on a CBT does
Only if you got your licence many moons ago, don't think they've included the moped entitlement for quite a while.
