** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Been playing this for a couple of weeks now (20ish hours in), loving it!

I played the original pretty much on release and this game just feels right.

I’ve not really started the main quest, just been bumbling around enjoying the atmosphere, playing dice and brewing potions.

Do I need to play the first before playing this? I can get the first one Royal Edition for £5
I played the first one but forgot most of it, watched a review and this was enough. The first is great and worth a play if you had the time though, the overall quality is not as good as the new one but improved and great once you get used to it.

Tempted to give the 1st a go, how has it aged? Since finishing kcd2 ive not really managed to get into any other game, tried the Oblivion remaster and didn't get on with it, clearly of its age. But kcd1 is still relatively modernish.

Edit, bought it, for the sake of a fiver it's worth a shot!

I think I still prefer the first one. Defo needs some mods in my opinion to make it more fun, but it still captures that historic feel.

Loving this game.

Was on a quest to find some dragon bones and was in the middle of woods at night sneaking (after downing a strong nighthawk potion) whilst all around were baddies carrying torches, the lighting looked amazing.

Also realised/remembered that I can press space to dodge during fights!

Quick question, is buying a new horse worth it? Ones that give a good increase in stats seem to be about 3,000, which is a lot of groschen!

Any of you tried the hardcore mode?
I did for my my first play through and it adds some fun but make it much harder. No fast travel, must have added loads to my play time, as did the lack of compass! I also have sleep waking as one of my negative traits which can be quite inconvenient.
