** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Haha. Yeah. I killed like maybe 50 soldiers towards the end at a camp. Was easy as I just went into a tight corner, killed them one by one

Might not be realistic, but it was fun :D

Did the same with the early horse thieves mission. Just like real life you run in to a dead end and wait for the enemy to bump into each other and then patiently wait their turn to fight you one at a time. Like a cheap kung foo B movie.

Don’t get me wrong, that in itself is a criticism that can be levelled at every game. I loved Stalker 2 to be honest but the AI are dumb as rocks. Run into a room with one way in and they come at you one at a time for a headshot.

I just went back to this as I have had a rest from gaming for the last month or so. The performance for me is really stuttery, I am not sure why it ran so smooth before, is anyone else getting this issue? it's like hitches especially when turning fast, FPS are still high? I have a pretty high end rig so not sure what is going on, was it the update?

For me it runs same as always (butter smooth 60 vsynced). I would suggest re-verifying game files in Steam and deleting configuration files and letting them recreate.

Anyone else ditched the game not completed?

Haven't played it for many months now, and I'm some ways in...

Well if you class not buying it then yeah I ditched it before I started :p
The premise was always interesting to me. It's just a shame it's set in a period of history I have little interest in (compared to some others that have arguably been overdone in games)and combat was ***** (basing that on the first game).
That said, It's also a period of history I'm not particularly familiar with, so I enjoyed at least learning about it, although that wasn't enough to make me enjoy the game (1st).
I'm half wondering if I'd enjoy the first one better if I just cheated to make the combat trivial and just enjoy the story and stuff.

Not played in a couple of months tbh. Logged in at the weekend after the patch and the game told me to do the tutorial again because I hadn't played in so long lol.

Problem is the game is too long, something else comes along and I lose interest. Same is starting to happen with Indiana Jones, even though it's a great game, but I might not get much further in that either.

I had that, then everytime I pressed B the game crashed.
saw on reddit loads of people saying the same thing...

Runs fine for me on a 4090 thats under volted, I capped the fps at 60 though since its not a fast paced game.

Even on experimental instead of ultra I was mostly hitting 60 and no stutter

GPU hitting around 60-65c

Yep, I got to the point where Im about to get to the new map, but got bored with the linear part getting there. Dropped it a month or so back, I might revisit it again on day. Its odd because I was enjoying it at a point, I was playing on console.

You have literally some of the best main quests and sidequests ahead of you. I don't quite get the distaste for the more linear parts - do you never play any linear storydriven games? Personally I love how this game combines open world freedom and simulated world with cinematic storytelling.

Sure, but I think it was because I spent so long in the starting area doing side stuff and just freely roaming, It felt strange suddenly being pulled into a linear path after a certain event. I will go back to it at some point though.

There's a shocking new spin off demo on Steam - Kingdom *** Deep Entrance probably more suitable for the people that are modding Stellar Blade:eek:

Doesn't show on mine, you must've gone into the settings and enabled adult games to show in the store.
Let us know how it plays

Bit late to the party but I’m enjoying this so far.

It’s way more polished than the OG game, IMO. Still very early doors but it just feels a little easier to get into than KCD too.
