The framerates I'm getting are fine, but the stutter in certain rooms is very much not. This isn't feeling like a poster-child for UE5 optimisation.initial impressions on the new one, wow the performance is amazing compared to the original, maxxing it out at 2560 x 1440 res and consistently hitting over 100 fps with a radeon 7800xt, no frame gen and native res they devs have deffo improved their knowledge of unreal engine 5 since the first game, im loving it![]()
I bought it £2.99 CD keys. Not cheap but not too expensive. Worth about that much but moderate fun tbhHow do I get to try it for free mate?
Yeah took me 9hr too 100% it on steam, didn't have to backtrack unlike Terminator and previous RobocopTook me 10 hours to complete 'Unfinished Business', with all the achievements.
They haven't fixed any of the jank from the original game, it's basic as anything - But it's still pretty cool playing as Robocop.

ah k im not far into it ill see how it performs later on.The framerates I'm getting are fine, but the stutter in certain rooms is very much not. This isn't feeling like a poster-child for UE5 optimisation.

Didn't experience any bugs or crashes myself, but as I said, It is janky.Heard it is pretty buggy in places... so while I loved the first game I'm going to hold out for a sale and a few patches.

Enemies chatting to each other after I already killed them, weird hitches and stutters (UE5) and mirrors which don't reflect Robocop at all.
Also the story is badly written.
I saw a lot of stuttering on a 9800X3D + 5070Ti, one room in particular you could move in a circle and it would be a near constant stutterah k im not far into it ill see how it performs later on.
edit : not really noticing traversal stutter, other than a split few seconds when i traverse into a new area, seems pretty smooth to me while the first game was heavy taxing my hardware for half the fps, so the devs have improved

What does the 112 / 56 represent in the overlay?I get up to 218fps with DLSS4 4K and epic settings if I use FG, or 130fps+ without FG, remember the overhead to the base fps with FG on is pretty big which was demonstrated by Vex the other day, it's like 105fpsa base when FG is on whereas it's 130fps+ without. The new Steam overlay tells all now so there's no escape for fake frames
Of course I like a silent GPU when gaming so game is locked to 110fps to taste as it's a cyborg game not CoD so don't need absolute fps
Edit* Steam overlay with FG on and locked fps off:

Quite cool that finally a UE5 game runs at 97fps lowest base even with the FG overhead applied.
The DLSS figure is if you use frame gen, the FPS figure is the base framerate currently when FG is enabled, this lets you see how much of a base performance impact simply enabling FG has, which is quite significant but Nvidia doesn't make it obvious, for obvious reasons lol. What does the 112 / 56 represent in the overlay?
Disappointing they didn't fix any of the performance issues. I enjoyed the main game despite the issues. This looks like a Steam sale buy for me later on.Took me 10 hours to complete 'Unfinished Business', with all the achievements.
