apparently beta is not long away too.

EA App Reveals Battlefield 6 Beta Could Start as Early as August 4th

please dont be dog shizzle. if it is battlefield is done. all studios working on it. if they cant get it right think it will be end of the franchise.
 
They should make it free to play, it's the only way I'll play it cause I won't be paying to play the absolute mess that the game will be at launch

It was so bad it was the only launch to that point dice apologised for. Several months of brokenfield that a lot of people have somehow forgotten.

Battlefield 1 had a smoothee launch, after bf4 they had to ensure it went OK. Bf1942 launch was also OK from what I remember. Besides those its usually pathetic how they launch

battlefield 4 was a mess at launch but..was the best battlefield game period ! we keep hoping for something as good but all they keep giving us is dire dog shizxle games. people saying this may even drop as early as october the 10th now.
 
BF1942 was the best BF game (and the most balanced) imo,

2nd best is a toughie, I'd put it between BF4 and BF1 (which was the last decent BF game I'd say)

The BF series is one I've been playing for decades and I've played all the iterations, apart from the cops and robbers one....but tbh, I dont hold out much hope for this, they've long since forgotten what made BF so good. In terms of "competitive" shooters, I've only got my eyes on one this year and thats Arc Raiders.

BF3 or BF4 for me - I weirdly didn't enjoy BF1 that much considering everyone seems to love it. I found it relied too much on being 'immersive' vs. being an enjoyable game. Still racked up a decent amount of playtime on it as I had friends that enjoyed it a lot but I think the setting wasn't my bag, I much prefer the BF3/BF4 settings for a Battlefield game personally.

I must have been 12 or 13 when I played 1942 on my Dad's PC so my experience was running about like an idiot and being asked to stop being so useless by 95% of the server.
 
Must say, I was watching the leaked video today, looks like it was set in a middle eastern sort of setting. Tbh, was hoping for a different setting (maybe it was just the level in that video), kind of bored of beige everywhere middle eastern settings
