No first impressions yet, I've not switched it on. It's currently on charge, but i'm sure it'll be fine, I played with the demo in the shop lol

Mine is scheduled for 5:20 to 6:20! FFS!

Also I have 2 DPD tracking numbers and codes to give. My assumption is 1 is for the buds and 1 for the phone but don't know which is which and have only received notification that 1 parcel is being delivered today.

Mine just arrived, just using Smartswitch to transfer everything over from S25U.

Will report back later but initial impressions, I'm amazed at the build quality right off the bat. Front screen when folded is perfect.

Not switched on  mine will be switched on before the cellotape hits the floor :D

I've just had a message that mine is out for delivery today between 13.39 /14.39, and the delivery van is on its way through the village on their tracking map.

Just FYI - anybody ordering the carbon shield case from Samsung they include 2 sp's for the front screen in this package, a rather pleasant surprise!
I think most of the Fold7 cases come with screen protectors as they don't come with a front cover. The only reason I got it, otherwise I would have ordered my trusty carbon cover from Aliexpress.

FYI after you apply the screen protector there be a crease in the middle, this is normal and will go away after a while.

Looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer for my 1TB Blue one. Order is still set to order confirmed on the samsung site. Ordered on the 10th after cancelling my initial order to get better trade in

I've had this happen in the past, you just need to give them one code and it'll sort both out.

Yep I had the same thing on SP's with the S24/S25 after a bit of heat it disappears.

I'm not too confident with just the rear cover SP so going to try look for a slimline cover that protects the front too.

What's everyone going for?

Has anyone got the samsung care package? Is it worth getting?
I've purchased it as it works out roughly the same from the quotes I was getting. I know a fair few banks give phone insurance but they have a value cap.

Used Care+ once on my S10+ for a dodgy camera after warranty finished. Fixed the same day. My fold 3 needed an inner screen protector under warranty and they wanted me to leave the phone with them as they had to send it away to get it installed.. Decided to apply one from Amazon myself

I've just found this out....after I just bought a silicone privacy screen for mine!

So far I am impressed with the Fold 7 (It's the first fold I will be trying out properly) and the novelty of a larger inner screen hasn't worn off yet.

I think I'm getting confused whilst still keeping my sim in my S25U so will most likely try to fully switch everything into the Fold 7 for a while and keep the S25U in the cupboard.

Well, after all the palava it arrived yesterday.

First impressions, it's a lot more sturdier than I expected, very solid.

The front screen will take some getting used to, it's still narrow but it's worth the compromise for the huge internal screen.

I love typing on the internal screen, the split keyboard makes it much easier and more accurate, absolutely brilliant.

I feel like a lot of apps don't take advantage of the internal screen i.e still in traditional phone mode whilst I'd like more desktop style UI.

The camera, it's about the same as the S25 Ultra, at 10* zoom it's of course not as good but the images are still usable.

Battery wise, off charge 4.5 hours ago, I've had 1hr 49 mins screen on time and I'm at 72 percent so I'm quite ok with that to be honest.

I didn't realize the internal screen comes with a pre installed screen protector that isn't to be removed, that's nice.
