There is an adjustable curve version due out, not sure when though I assume later this year.
Ah, my mistake then I read it as adjustable.I didn't realise the curve was adjustable. I thought you could just have it as curved or flat. Not different levels of curve.

Who would want it flat
It’s likely to be adjustable based on the info shared by LG at CES where it was showcased. So you can set any curve between the max 900R (so not quite as steep as the 800R regular version) and fully flat. It’s motorized too, pretty slickI didn't realise the curve was adjustable. Nice one - I'm building my new system this weekend and will be ordering this when its ready. My monitor is out for delivery, should be here by mid-day.
Felt like forever, let's hope it lives up to the hype.

Very interested in your thoughts on the monitor when it arrives and also very interested on where you found the discount codes as I've not managed to find any.
Thanks for your review and also much obliged for the code offer - I'll send a DM when I'm ready.Just managed to get it unboxed and mounted on my wall arm.
Initial impressions..wowzers. I've gone through quite a few monitors in the last year and I think I've found my endgame.
The curve can be quite noticeable at first but 15 minutes in and my eyes are already getting used to it and the immersiveness it provides even on desktop is very nice.
I've not tinkered with any of the picture settings yet but will play with them shortly and test out the dual modes.
I had a 32" glossy QD-OLED 4K prior to this and I haven't really noticed any difference with the matte coat.
I am sitting at about arms length away from the centre of the screen and the text and clarity is incredible even at 100% scaling on Windows.
As for the code, I got it through equateplus benefits portal - if you need one just hit me up when you are ready and I can help![]()
Very surprising U-turn post compared to your last one. I have an IPS panel that I’ll be using for work and this one for gaming when I get it as my other concern was burn in. If you were closer down the road then I would have been interested in taking yours off your hands. So have had some more time to thoroughly test this in games and work etc and the curve is actually quite disruptive unfortunately with work and productivity. I'll be sending this back and just wait for the bendable model or more 40-45" flat oled 5k2k screens to come. If my sole use was gaming I'd keep it
If anyone is genuinely interested in taking this off my hands let me know as I know it's hard to find stock and I did get a decent discount but collection from NW2 area. I'll put on MM if so.
I think initially it was the wow factor of new gadget too, but the picture quality is great. I just need something with less curvature and it'll be perfect. Tempted to go for another 40 dell ultrasharp but I think there's no going back from OLED so will just be patient and wait it out.Very surprising U-turn post compared to your last one. Do you not think you would be able to get used to the curve for productivity?
How deep is your desk?Unfortunately it's just too aggressive, if my desk was a bit deeper it may have been ok.
