I went to the gym, was listening on my headphones. Only just got back and see how hilarious the dismissal was@mid_gen have you not gone to your car yet???? I think you need the gym.. think of your fitness.. think of your health... will someone think of the children.....![]()
Didn't they make Mura bowl with a sort of cast to stop him whipping his arm through? He does throw it up to a point but its due to the hyperextension of his elbow which is allowed within the rules. I think you can have an argument that some players who "throw" the ball can change their action but I don't know if Bumrah can stop his elbow hyperextending no matter how he bowls.
Australia only made 121 in their second innings....It's really sad to see the sorry state of West Indian cricket, they were bowled out for just 27 in their second innings against Australia. Granted it was a low scoring pitch but that really humiliating, at the rate they are going they risk getting grouped with the likes of minor test nations like Ireland, Holland and Zimbabwe.
True, but the BBC did a little bit of analysis on this.Australia only made 121 in their second innings....
Just turned it on, they took a wicket after 10 seconds![]()
Reckon he'd try to insist he would bat by putting his foot down? Only to be told that he can't put his foot down as he's fractured a metatarsal!Update on Pant: he fractured a metatarsal, and has been advised to rest for six weeks. Reportedly he still wants to come out and bat, but I suspect someone in his team will be talking him out of it.
Edit: apparently not. Here he comes hobbling on to the pitch to great applause.
I think England should be able to score 500 from this position in their first innings against this Indian bowling attack. I don't see any other result of this test match apart from a win for England.

Finger crossed Root can pass Ricky Ponting's runs total this innings. He was just 88 runs behind him when he passed into 3rd all time and has had one fewer innings then Ricky.
