Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

If Newcastle end up with one of the most chased and talked about CF in Europe and a dump truck full of cash then I actually would be pretty darn happy. We tried to sign him a few years ago before he was sold within the RB group so a long term target.

Most important person at Newcastle is Eddie Howe. If we can’t compete on wages and transfer fees then his coaching ability’s and technical analysis are better than most of the high revenue English clubs. He still has players there from our Championship campaign and been we’ve been running wild :D

It’s needs to get done quickly so we can prepare for this campaign which starts in like 3 weeks!!

Also Isak could very well be still in a Newcastle player due to the numbers. (Not just the transfer fee)

What stage are you on?
Well if the first stage is denial then:

2nd stage being Anger, they are way past being angry no one wants to play for them.
3rd stage being Bargaining, we can all agree no one at United even understands this step.
4th stage being Depression, I think this hit the peak about 5 years ago and almost all have moved on to..
5th stage Acceptance. They accept they are ****, accept they are broke and the only joy left is to pretend relevance.

There doesn't seem to many that are not at stage 5 already. I remember it well, about 24ish year ago for me.

Every man utd supporter that's posted in the predicition thread here has got you 4th for a start
Seems like I've been away too long, people have lost their marbles...

I guess the logic is that "we'll focus on the league". Can't see it. Top 10 at best unless we buy some top quality players.

We've bought two of the best attacking forwards in the league. Primarily to address the fact that we don't score hardly any goals. No-one is expecting miracles but Amorim should be aiming to compete with Toon, Villa, Spurs, for a top six finish. I see nothing that suggests that isn't possible - a big challenge for sure but given the squad, lack of match overload and prospect of further signings it should be achievable. Time will tell and lets not forget that statistically United had the toughest start in terms of fixtures of almost any club.

Well there's not long left until we find out!

Nunez/Diaz left out of squad as expected to leave

Gomez injured and set home, honestly can we just replace him? We can’t even rely on him for cover anymore. Need a centre back or a centre back that can also play right back if looking to replace his qualities exactly.
