Hippos walk in the water, gorillas actively avoid it apparently, even walking in shallows spooks them. It was fun checking why neither swim tho'.

Folding a piece of paper 42 times would result in a thickness roughly equal to the distance between the Earth and the Moon. This is due to the nature of exponential growth, where each fold doubles the thickness of the paper.

The statement is incorrect. While the Sun does radiate a tremendous amount of energy, including visible light, the amount of energy reaching Earth every second, when converted to mass using Einstein's famous equation E=mc², is roughly equivalent to 4.2 million metric tons (4.7 million tons), not 5 pounds, according to Space.com and NASA's Cosmicopia. This energy is equivalent to about 1.73 x 10^17 watts.

The war of the Triple Alliance was quite bad.

They got a sound thrashing, with around two thirds of the population killed. Estimates at the high end are that up to 90% of the adult male population died.
