Nah, it remains the same size no matter how far or close you get, I wouldn't bother tbh.

just a bunch of rocks anyway, can see those anywhere.

It does get moved 1.5 meters every 5 years. My dad took me when I was a teen and you could park up just off the a303 and it was a 20 second walk.

Four years - they adjust it for a leap year.
