Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I’ve only ever come across snuff in Scandinavia before, although I read an article the other day that suggested teenagers are getting hooked on it too (due to the price of cigarettes and an alternative to vaping). They said you get some nasty burns on your gums as a consequence, have you experienced that? Looks like your gums will be in a bad way if that is the case
That's snüs which is pouches. Snuff is a powder you snort in little bits.

As above. This is inhaled lightly into the nasal cavity. I have used snus though and it is quite nice but snuff is cheaper and doesn't stain your teeth.

Bought a 1,000 piece Jigsaw for my mum for mothers day this year made from a photo i'd taken of her cat years ago,
Difficulty level could be classed as very hard due to the colouring, anyway she finished it today...

New 5C collet chuck for the lathe. Waiting on the backplate which will need machining for it to fit the spindle nose. Also sets of imperial and metric collets arriving by Thursday. Assuming I do a decent job on the backplate it should be way better than that ER32 chuck you can see currently mounted which has a TIR (total indicated runout) of 0.003" on the taper socket which makes it about as useful as a second tail on a dog. I have some CBN lathe tools arriving via Aliexpress so will try correcting the taper by hard-turning, I have nothing to lose because it's useless as it is.

New mouse, I started to get a little annoyed with the creaking shell of the F01 Magnesium, not what I was expecting from such a high priced mouse, so I figured I'd check out one of the latest even lighter models, quite like the colourway more as well, something different.

And why the name?

Finally, a light mouse that doesn't look like a god damn cheese grater!

A trip to dublin in the new year.

Mrs has been saying she wants to see them for about 10 years now, so thought we best

Awesome. I'm trying to encourage my mate to come out to Spain for that leg of the tour. I was going to head back to Manchester but it's a mates 40th that night and it'd be a tad rude to sack him off for a gig :p

Not really heard much of their stuff since Elipsis so need to check out the newer stuff to make sure it's worth the journey

TBF they didnt really play that much new stuff at TRNSMT last week. Assuming its probably going to be a not disimilar set list, maybe with a few more in off the new album.

More bits arrived today earlier than expected, the Metric 5C collets which I hope are at least of half-decent quality, the part-machined backplate for the 5C collet chuck, and (for another project) an 600W variable speed servo motor with indecipherable inscriptions lol! You can guess where that came from. However it was cheap yet still good quality, often to be found hidden within many expensive machine tools. It's the same motor on my miniature belt sander. I wasn't expecting delivery of that until end August so a nice surprise. Oh, and notification just now of delivery later today of the Imperial 5C collet set, so that's everything I ordered (I think).

£38 for these: CBN lathe tool inserts. These will cut even hardened tool steel and it's amusing to see sparks and red hot (glowing!) chips coming off when turning in the lathe. CBN is better than diamond in this case because, although slightly softer, it is far more resistant to high temperatures. It's harder than carbide but diamond is the better option for that.
