He hates big game studios...ding
He hates full price games....ding
He has a very potato PC which is incapable of running most new titles...ding
His gaming skills are legendarily poor, to the point where he struggles to even find settings in game options....ding
He doesnt play WASD on keyboards, preferring some weird selection of keys, like IJKL or something....ding
He generally dislikes games that most people like, simply to be different...ding
It all combines to ensure maximum dingage potential for something like BF6

i havent seen full footage, but does it show just a play now button or something, if so thats really crap. and they ve missed the point again... I want to play with my squad on the server i choose... the server that other squads and team freinds lists can join and team up on....the days of BF2/BF3/BF4 when i can l look at the team list and there 20 plus of us in the same clan playing , plus other clans/team... and god forbid an admin tool where we can kick the racist idiots and keyboard warriors off

He's built his whole channel on whinging, sometimes it's justified but a lot of the time it's whining for the sake of winging/views
Yeh unfortunately it looks like it will be restricted to Portal only.
I don't want to be drip fed the game modes and maps that EA want me to play in matchmaking and I've always enjoyed seeing the same names in servers for years, which is why I played Planetside 2 for so long.
Plus although I'm in the UK now on holiday , I emigrated to Australia last year so matchmaking is a nightmare for Oceania players.
If they allow DICE servers or something like that in Portal and the matchmaking servers to be seen in Portal then that would work but this is just another way for EA to control, they hate the fact that B4 is still alive thanks to dedicated rented servers and server browsers, they want to be able to kill this game when the next one comes out. It's just greed pure and simple.
I miss the days when a bloody scoreboard and server browsers was just basic functionality.

I'll need to wait and see exactly whats in portal before making a judgement. We know that there is a server browser in the bf portal, so will need to wait and see exactly what the scope is of that browser and/or whether it will be added to non-portal

I wish they would have shown some of the BR footage, I have a feeling its going to be brutal and very hardcore as i read somewhere that if you get in the redzone its instant death.

I wonder if when you buy the game on Steam it will still require the game to launch in the stupid EA app so therefore opening up in TWO platforms rather than running just directly from steam?
Nah, they've said you just need an EA ID (if you don't have one already). He is the last person i would listen to, the same guy that tried to say X racing sim is **** and Y racing sim is great all while playing with a controller which lets be honest cannot give you what the physics engine of these sims offer.
He goes on as if he knows all because hes an old school gamer but in reality hes a bit on the clueless side and literally has to be faking the grumpiness for clicks.

That's great news, Otherwise would be pointless buying it on the platform of choice which would be steam if it opened up EA anyway.
