Im excited for sure but disappointed to hear the sniper rifle sweet-spot BS from BF1 is back.
Its just a noob crutch and will make the games full of snipers.
Also the TTK is supposed to be the fastest of any BF6, hate that tbh and hope they change it.

Im used to BF4 hardcore, so the TTK (if its time to kill). its better if its shorter. I hate chasing some around for 10 minutes (exaggerating) shooting them and nothings happening.

A shorter TTK should appeal to the COD playerbase too, especially on small maps.

Im hoping that the Sniper gameplay feels more like it did in Bad Company 2,Sniping with the GOL was so satisfying to me, I got some really far kills with that gun!
Don't think it was a late unlock sniper either like 3rd in the row, Great fun though.

Reinstalled BF4 last night after watching the streams - I was properly rusty but still great fun and will scratch the itch for a week until the Beta

He is the last person i would listen to, the same guy that tried to say X racing sim is **** and Y racing sim is great all while playing with a controller which lets be honest cannot give you what the physics engine of these sims offer.
He goes on as if he knows all because hes an old school gamer but in reality hes a bit on the clueless side and literally has to be faking the grumpiness for clicks.

I'll never forget when he gave Elden Ring 0/10, slating it hugely, whilst only playing it for 30mins and not even getting out of the tutorial area

To be fair the controls made it unplayable on pc until it was patched.

I played it on launch with a gamepad and it was ok. Was it mouse related issues making it tougher than need for those playing with m+kb?

Yeh unfortunately it looks like it will be restricted to Portal only.

I don't want to be drip fed the game modes and maps that EA want me to play in matchmaking and I've always enjoyed seeing the same names in servers for years, which is why I played Planetside 2 for so long.

Plus although I'm in the UK now on holiday , I emigrated to Australia last year so matchmaking is a nightmare for Oceania players.

If they allow DICE servers or something like that in Portal and the matchmaking servers to be seen in Portal then that would work but this is just another way for EA to control, they hate the fact that B4 is still alive thanks to dedicated rented servers and server browsers, they want to be able to kill this game when the next one comes out. It's just greed pure and simple.

I miss the days when a bloody scoreboard and server browsers was just basic functionality.

Sucks if there isn't a server browser. I don't understand if they go to the effort of creating a server for portal then they don't they implement it for the whole game and have an option to use it or matchmaking

Seems more of the same of the last two flops bfv and 2042 with zero recoil and fast ttk, how many time are they going to repeat the same mistake of making a cod clone.

Yeah I caught that in his video. Didn't catch the full specs but someone in his comments say it was a 5070 & 7800X3D and it was comfortably running 150+ fps at 1440p. Didn't mention anything settings wise or upscaler but that sounds positive.

In all fairness, 2042 ran really well. I never had any issues with that game hitting over 200fps.

I watched JackFrags playing this morning thought I heard him say Ultra within the settings but thats all I caught!

It looks like a lot of fun, some good maps some not!

I played from release and 100% it, killing every boss, all on m&k, then again, as I say, worthabuy plays some weird keyboard layout rather than WASD

I dont think it can kill CoD (nor vice versa), CoD and BF are franchises too large to be killed. Even the worst BF game ever didnt end with its death and likewise even the worst CoD game ever didnt result in the death of CoD. They are 2 franchises with huge gamerbases to pull from with every release. If you can stick beavis and butthead and teenage mutant ninja turtle skins into CoD and it still survives and makes huge money then not even the greatest BF game of all time would kill it
