Used to love the server browser and custom servers back in the day. As someone who can't shoot I liked hardcore TTK as people weren't bullet sponges so I had a hope of getting kills but I also liked the minimap being active as I used to spot for fun for the points :D
 
To pre or not to pre order, that is the question. I think I might wait till I try the open beta. I've just got back into 2042 and have about 950hrs in game.

I'm definitely waiting until after the Betas finish, no need to order before, they aren't going to run out of keys.

Everyone should try the beta before making any decisions I'd say. BF games always look like they will be great but its the delivery that counts. Besides the open beta is only a week away so its not a long wait before you can get a hands on feel of the game

There's no reason to give anybody money up front when you're pre-ordering a digital game. They're not running out of stock. There's two weekends in August where the only effort you have to put in beforehand is to download/update the game files and you can try it for yourself. No money required...

He was moaning about the 2016 doom as well because of the weak zombie type enemies you face really early in the first 5 or so mins of it. Don't think he played on past the first level or 2.
 
Been playing BF2042 just as a test of my newish system, and one thing I really hope they nerf at long range is Shotguns. Shotguns are up close weapons, not beamers at distance!
 
I wish they just didn't bother with the Portal thing, they said it was going to be great and people could create theit own exciting maps, relive old ones etc but the only thing I remember was maps full of bots and people using them to level up. I'm pretty sure they said during the presentation that you'd still get full XP in portal so I can't imagibe this time it will be any differemt.
 
bf1 cant remember the map name but the one in the forest with trenches used to win every game with shotgun over 100 kills :p
 
Battlefield 6 has a Kernel-level anti-cheat called Javelin that will require Secure Boot on PC.

so many people just buying it and wondering why their game dont work :D

Anyone else who got a key from Twitch have the message saying code already redeemed when trying to add to EA App? I was trying multiple times when it was busy last night but I don't see it in my library.
