I redeemed it by clicking on the twitch notification where it takes you to ea site in your browser. I did NOT use the desktop app to redeem.

To be fair we have a large detached bungalow with 8 people in at any given time (imlaws in annex at the end of our house) so was chumping at the bit as Virgin Media was naff! £31 for 1gb down and 50GB up I think? And Youfiber was £29.99 and they brought me out of the VM deal

That sounds a bit weird, an entirely different client just for the beta. As if having the EA desktop app by itself wasn't bad enough, I don't think they would code yet another client for this. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens next Thurs

Everyone wondering what to do about the beta....it's all explained on the previous page in the above quoted posted. If you have your EA account link to Steam just search for the open beta on the 4th to preloadThis just dropped into my inbox!
He wasn't on the list. Some of the invited content creators looked a bit young, I guess EA/DICE wanted to keep them safe!
I've not seen a confirmation either way but if it's just matchmaking it does kinda put me off if I'm honest.

What's the preference, EA App or Steam or does it not matter? I've only got BF games through EA App before. Wont it require EA App if through steam anyway?

Yeah I've only bought for EA App when it was called Origin but I'll be using Steam this time as I don't have EA App installed anymore. According to David Sirland Steam won't need EA App, just an EA Account. Epic Store, if you chose that for whatever reason will need EA App though.

I was inputting keys yesterday and get getting to the stage of confirm but the website wasn’t playing ball, it was incredibly slow at redeeming and then missed out.
Totally oblivious to the Twitch thing!
