Show Us Your Motors!

The irony of the oil rigs in the background ;)

How do you think plastic is made?

Pushed the wheels out 20mm at the back and 25mm at the front. Much better. I had to trim the studs on the rear wheel hub to get the 20mm spacer on. A common issue. Only. needed to take 1mm off.

Also Plastidipped the pony on the grille. I figured that if I didn't like it I could just peel it off. I like it.

Next on the list are some Steeda progressive springs (25mm drop at the back, 30mm at the front) and a subframe alignment kit + support bushes. Not sure whether I'm going to do those myself or pay someone to do it. It looks simple enough but I really don’t like working under the car on stands.

That cliff was more of a mound to begin with though, let’s be honest - P Zeros are not particularly strong in that regard :P

I recall many moons back fitting a full set of P Zeros to one of the motors, just the drive home was enough for me to ditch them and switch to Cup 2, would have gone PS4 but due to availability had to go Cup 2 instead :D

Hi there

Back to where it all started - back in a Mustang!

GT5001.jpg

A one owner, low mileage Grabber Orange Shelby GT500, collecting later this week! :D
5.4l iron block, 500HP stock.

Will no doubt start power mods next year, car has a full Griggs adjustable coil over suspension setup.
$1500 will take it from 500HP to 650HP (CAI, Pulley & Tune)
$3000 SC swap will take it from 650-800HP
New pistons, injectors, fuel pump and drop pulley on SC swap and looking at 1000HP.

I will probably stop at 650HP, be more than enough in such an old beast, but I loved my Saleen and far preferred it over newer S550 I owned, so when this came along, it had to be done. :D
