He said in the pen there’s a lot of background stuff that isn’t going well.
Yeah I don’t get it tbh. He was scraping distance away from getting into Q3 and that session was very topsy turvy so he very easily could have done well out of it. He’s has a run of poor results but he must be able to see the bigger picture.
Low rating because half the race no one past 5th could really overtake?
I guess a race like this is much like a football match that is 1-0 at 80 minutes  It’s not been great — but there still all to play for. I don’t think it deserves lower than a 5 rating. After all you had the two championship contenders going wheel to wheel (of sorts) in the last 4-5 laps. Actual real life racing which doesn’t always happen :p

Not sure why people are rating this so low, I thought it was a quality race with a lot of strategic interest and battles for important places. I gave it 7/10. Chuffed to see Bortoleto doing well, and nice to see Lawson getting a bit of luck too. Norris keeps the WDC alive heading into the break.
Agreed, intriguing race and Max showed how to overtake..

Nothing happened for most of the race.

Voted a four.. I watched the entire rice in the cricket tea interval.. and I missed nothing as far as I can tell.. thank god for recording and fast forward again..

Only got a four for the first few corners and the last few laps, which I watched at normal speed..

I really feel for Lewis, he had an amazing career, Abu Dhabi was a major turning point for him as he was essentially robbed of a WDC. Ever since then, he's not had the same mental attitude. The move to Ferrari this year has made things even worse for him. I hope the 2026 car is a lot better for him. He's lost so much self-confidence, and it's horrible to see.

ESPN's F1 channel on youtube is a hidden gem. Every single race they upload 30-40 minutes highlights, this time within 20 minutes of the race ending !

Just need a US VPN to access it

no further action for Max, lewis even waived his right to attend
Don’t understand the idea of making a decision based on what the drivers had to say, and then even giving up on it because one driver didn’t attend. Isn’t that the polar opposite of what sports like football are trying to do with players always complaining to the ref etc. It’s by-the-by for this incident but sets a crap precedent for when it matters.

Infringement Alleged breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 b) of the International SportingCode.Decision Reason No further action. The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 1 (Max Verstappen), teamrepresentatives and video and in-car video evidence. The driver of Car 44 (LewisHamilton) waived his right to attend the hearing. The driver of Car 1 stated during the hearing that he had gained some momentum onCar 44 out of Turn 3 with fresher tyres and used this momentum to make a move onthe inside into Turn 4. He further elaborated that he was in full control of his car andcould have stayed further to the inside to leave space for Car 44 on the exit. However he said, as Car 44 had gone off track, he elected to use all of the track onthe exit. The team representative of Car 44 confirmed that there was no contact between bothcars and further stated that the driver of Car 44 chose not to attempt to remain ontrack.Taking all this into account, the Stewards determine that there was no contact andthat the incident does not qualify as forcing another car off track despite theambitious nature of the overtaking attempt and take no further action

I'm getting the impression that he wants out of Ferrari, he's said several times now they should get a new driver, he still loves racing but Ferrari's internal politics i think have crushed him

Ferrari needs to have a massive internal restructuring, they have a pretty good car and two top teir drivers, but they are not producing the results that they should.
