What PC games are you playing?

Playing through Witcher 3 on NG+, hadn't touched it since 2016 when Blood and Wine came out, absolutely loved it at the time. The game really holds up, it's still incredible even a decade later and with RT it still looks pretty modern.
The one exception being the fine movement controls, which are completely ass on keyboard, which is just as i remember it but other games have improved on this.

Loving the campaign on Modern Warfare 2. Don’t think I have long to go, then time for MW3. Thanks gamepass.

With a good bit of MSFS24 thrown in for good measure :)

Some games I’m looking forward to later in the year too, Gears, Outer Worlds and AC DLC :)

Very happy to be back PC gaming, but with the option of switching to sofa gaming with it. Perfection.

Picked up Expedition 33 again, I'll be amazed if this doesn't win GOTY. Though I'm not really sure how that's decided, but hopefully all aspects of a game are considered when doing so.
This along with Blue Prince has made 2025 one of the best years in recent memory for me gaming wise, because I cannot recall another year I actually really enjoyed more than one title.

Playing through Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition on Gamepass.

I played it when it first came out but didn’t have the DLCs back then. Loving the gunplay, and the DLCs are fantastic.

Hitman Absolution, loved this when it first came out and played it on PS3, nice to be able to max it out in 4K on PC. Still a great game - I didn't really gel with the modern Hitman's, the lack of story was a major let down. Loved all the previous games.

Star Wars Outlaws

I had to put it down. The story wasn't grabbing me and neither were the characters. I was going location to location with no engagement.

I've been really keen to play this and have been waiting for a big sale before buying, but I'm seeing more and more negative reviews. Is it really that bad?

Worse than bad, unless SW apologist who would claim there's never been a bad film either ;)

I bought a key for £22. The game looks great and the world is very immersive. A lot of the stealth problems that people complained about on launch I didn't see as I believe they changed that. I think it's a very Ubisoft, Ubisoft game. I found it a little too open with the usual markers and fetch missions without a compelling story or character to push me forward. Though I was only 10 or so hours in I felt that was enough.

You may feel different.

I mostly liked it, albeit I played it a good while after launch when the worst of the bugs and design flaws had been patched out.

It's not a fantastic game - more a kind of solid 8/10 - but there's a lot there to like. It does a good job of capturing the look and feel of the original trilogy of movies, rather than the prequels or the Disney stuff. The gameplay is nothing special, but it is perfectly competent. By Ubisoft standards, there's relatively little bloat (I was done in under 40 hours). The visuals are very good if you have the hardware to push the settings. It's not quite as pretty as Alan Wake 2 or Indiana Jones, but it's only one small tier down from them.

It has a few flaws. The space combat isn't fantastic. There's one particular forced-stealth sequence right near the end of the game that's absolutely infuriating. But overall, if you want a fairly short open world-er with a good chunk of OG Star Wars atmosphere, it's fine. Don't pay full price for it, but absolutely give it a go if you can find it discounted.

Recently getting back into The Forever Winter. Not normally an extraction shooter player but the world and art style are amazing. Interesting lore as well. Still feels quite janky but seems to be very actively updated.
