The trailer was in the first post, the post should have been cancelled the minute it was watched :p

Plus War of the Worlds and Ice Cube, it was always going to be a disaster.

I never ever ever ever watch trailers ever, they usually give too much away and I refuse to watch them.
I also take zero notice of IMDB or Rotten Tomato scores.

I get the odd film here and there, but generally, both those websites will help you not waste hours of your life.

Maybe I’m a film snob. A lad at work recommends films with a 3 rating on IMDb with over 100k votes. Nah

Bloody hell, did a LLM write the script...horrifically horrible!

Love me some Cube, but last decent WotW was Cruise and his bash at it.
Oh and no one could actually their way into a primary school Nativity.
 
Heard about this yesterday and watched it today. WoTW is my favourite story and this adaption.. I'll give it props for doing it's own thing. I didn't mind the screentime style of story telling And Ice Cube doing 10 different things at once conveyed urgancey but the film just moved way to fast, within 10 minutes of the Martian reveal the POTUS has line dropped the films title. The dialogue is lame and makes the acting hammy and the Martian motive is lame, so lame.. and they're defeated by nonsense that I can't make my mind up if it's worse than Independance Day, it's hitting that same vein.

I'll give it a 4 out of 10, it leaves too much to be desired for a WoTW adaption. If they defeated the Martians with furry art I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
 
Was about to switch it off but...saw Clark Gregg/phil coulson was in it, so watched it and now I will never watch anything with Clark Gregg in it again.
 
Damn I'm 20 mins in and already bored of ice cube shouting at everything and everyone. Elite surveillance expert from the hood using Facebook chat..

CGI is top notch
