That’s why I did the EA App just to be sure, I imagine you will be fine.

Have you tried downloading via Origin and seeing if it shows below the Game “1 Addon” then once you expand it should say Early Access or along those lines if I recall correctly.
 
The code should be against your 'EA account' - so provided you've got your EA account linked to your Steam account (Or PS5/Xbox) then it should be no issue.

I have slow Internet so that's not really an option. It was applied to my linked account so should be OK.

last I bought was bf4.
dice just messed up to much.
gonna try the open beta.
Then decide
 
Hmmm says I need to enable secure boot to load.... Would have thought it was on as it's a new built pc...hope turning it on in bios won't break anything...

Can't seem to work out how to see if my nvme drive is MBR or GPT in Windows 11...?

Ok my disk is GPT so that good...

Secure boot settings in bios says -

OS Type - Other OS
Secure boot mode - Custom

Should I change it to Windows UEFI mode and standard?

Was kinda excited about this, hoping for a return to form. But a friend mentioned something and brought me down.

"You know what the trailers dont show? The guy in the helicopter with a 60-0 score."

I'm just praying they get the vehicle balance right.
I dont want to end up in another game where the only way to stop an enemy pilot farming you team is to have God's grace of an even better pilot on your team.
 
Every BF game ive ever played has been like that i cant expect this to be different tbh. lol

that's why i probably went a Call of Duty route after BF3

i have zero expectations this will be different and ill probably be sick of it after a month or 2 but .... this one finally looks like a return to form.

There are always going to be vehicle players who “roflstomp” in pubs.

A little bit of teamwork usually puts an end to it but it will depend on how well they’ve tuned the countermeasures.

Yeah, if someone is *that* good in a little bird or apache then they deserve all the kills they can get.

Equally, they deserve it when 2 or 3 squads entire focus is taking them down. Either with AA vehicles, stingers etc. and just making their lives hell.

I'm pretty decent in the mini bird, in 2042 I quite quickly got the Tier 1 badget for 1500 kills in it, but it was always a nightmare if you came up against people that knew how to make your life tough. You spend so long just flying low to avoid lock, barely pop back up to get kills and then it's just full focus again.

Mainly due to people dont focus on taking choppers down.
to many cod players.
soon there is a good heli pilot all I do is making sure they die and are harassed a lot.
but that was a decade ago.

I bet the player behavior haven't changed much in recent bf games
 
i like the sound of the changes they have made already to classes. Taking the spawn beacon from recon and moving it to assault is good, the pop up ladders/ramps also look like they will add some cool traversal
