Glyphosate doesn't penetrate the waxy layer on marestail.

All dead within 2 weeks using Triclopyr. With the bonus it doesn't kill stuff like grass so you can spray your lawn, unlike the suggestion above which would kill everything.
Triclopyr kills brambles and similar as well.

That's what I use. It's expensive but it does the job and works in a week.

I've got weeds everywhere but I need something that won't kill grass or plants. The stuff I've got now kills everything
I've also got moss growing on paved areas and fences, and I need something that kills moss only, the stuff I've got now kills the moss dead but it all kills everything it touches due to it containing bleach

Glyphosate plus the additive above works fine - takes a couple of weeks before anything happens, but seems to kill it back much further to the roots/rhizomes so it doesn't come back at all (or if it does, then far less of it)

Repeated dosing with glyphosate worked for me but it needs more than one goYou'll have a hard time getting rid of mares tail... Their roots can be upto 2m deep and their structure makes it hard for weedkiller to be absorbed

It can't be any worse than the hopeless greenforce I've already tried (although it did kill some moss).

Marestail/horsetail, I've found this to be the best, @robj20 mentioned it earlier, Mix as per the instruction and add a big squirt of washing up liquid to help it stick, turns brown and dies back with in a few days.
Unfortunately due to the root system it will pop up elsewhere which then needs treating, apparently it can go dormant if you keep on top of it.

Yeah this stuff is actually great.
I tried Greenforce and Westland weed and feed. Still have some broad leaf weeds, a few different types.
Any more suggestions?
Stop looking at different brands and focus on the active ingredients you require. Either Glyphosate or Triclopyr will deal with almost anything.

They're different chemicals not just different brands...
I have Glyphos but it killed my lawn once already.
I will tri the triclopyr.
Brands also help because it makes it easier to search for. I tried 2-4-d earlier and came up with not much, on Amazon at least.
