I'm grasping for the real plot, but I'm sure it will come to me, do I pit the work bots against the companion droids, having the companion droids rip thier face flesh off before the big battle, or do I have a proff bot cop solve some kind of mystery? maybe both? I just don't know, lol, which one would you be more interested in?

Have these Robot Wars (narrated by Craig Charles, natch) developing in the background and shaping the world as it goes, while your Robo-cop guy (who looks like Peter Weller, natch) solves his mysteries... just don't have him uncover some conspiracy/plot about some rogue programmer beef that led to the whole world-changing war thing happening, as it's too grand and trite for a single crusading character. Keep him doing the police work and keep the war as a background event, the fallout of which only sometimes breaks through into the main characters' plot.

Also resolve the sex stuff.
1/. A loss of interest in sex is very unlikely, especially in your poor places where, despite no interest in sex and the scarcity of real humans, poor people still find partners and shag to produce families.
Moreover, if there's no interest in sex, why are rich people shagging their robots all over the place?

2/. Companions who look human-ish and form connections with humans, but draw the line at sex and instead insist the human goes and shags the toaster, does not make sense.... unless your intent is to Friendzone the human race and turn them all into whiny incels, which would be literary suicide for this plot.

3/. Why is sex such a big element of the plot... particularly if humans no longer want it?

You only need to tackle the glaring ones. The rest of it is easily swept under the rug with the excuses of it being just a comedy like Red Dwarf or HHGTTG, or with sci-fi technobabble and alternate universiness.
