Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

that'll be the window cleaners for the chop then so jim can afford one :p
He's certainly racking up the bonus points on the company credit card at the moment, thats for sure. All expenses paid trip to Blackpool Pleasure beach and all you can eat Buffett at Greggs if these signings work for the staff is on the cards

No reason to think we won’t get a midfielder too, I think the club have agreed we need one.

The issue is who? Who can we get who actually makes a difference to our midfield. Most of the options being suggested will be more than we can afford to spend so will we end up throwing another £50m at some mid mid to use the yoots parlance.

All you can eat Greggs...

Droooooooool... :p

Not going to lie, I am pumped for this season, going to be an exciting one with so much new talent coming into the leagues frontlines, how will Gyokeres do at Arsenal, how will Ekitike do at Liverpool, how will Sesko do at Utd, going to be interesting to see how it all pans out and see who got the deal and who got the flop

I can imagine the invites

What are the odds of Liverpool making a bid around the same amount that Newcastle asked for just before their game at the end of the month? Even if just to unsettle him beforehand with a bit of ****housery.

@BaZ87 what's your view on the LFC transfer business this summer ? Clearly there has been some surgery to the squad and it looks a little like 1 in 1 out in that the starting XI has been improved significantly. (A lot of new players will take time to settle etc) With all the outgoings is the overall squad a little light ?

So with elliot and nunez off that would put our net spend at approx £0 for the window! Still think one of doak or chiesa is off aswell. Definitely feels like we need another 2 attackers, a cb and possibly someone who can play across the back.

Doak never got a look in so in terms of replacing him not massively needed

Centre back is vital for me, we need one in before season starts imo. We’re too short there.

I think Rio may get chances but he is very young so could be too much too soon

With all these exits at Liverpool, are they not a bit light in depth this season?

Certainly lacking 2 more CB surely at minimum.

If we can bring in £90-100m for Nunez and Elliot and spend another 40-50 on Isak, that seems decent enough business.

Edit: but as I've said previously, I'd still prioritise a CB and DM over another forward

I'd say only light in defence tbh, midfield and forward is actually pretty stacked, but definitely need 1 more first choice CB and a cover CB imo. Guehi can be first choice, so then just a little 20m dip for a cheap defensive cover player would do me. Personally if it was me , I'd be getting Guehi and then seeing if Geertruida from Leipzig could be made part of an Elliott deal
