Funnily enough, queues can often create more hype...

Wow look, this game is SO popular, SO many people want to play it , look how big the queue is, thats just how many people want to play, it must be awesome

Compared to..

So few people were playing that there were no server hiccups and not even a queue. Cant be that good a game if nobody is wanting to play.
 
Some of you really need to give your head a wobble if you thought this was going to be a smooth first few hours.

A few pages back a bunch of us even have the conversation about not really getting involved until 12pm.

It's like some people have never tried to play an in demand beta before right a launch. Or they have and hope that, of all companies, EA to have enough capacity to handle what must be 300k+ trying to pile in at the same time :D
 
If you think the queues are bad now, just wait til Saturday when you also have all the people who arent at work/school plus all the people who didnt have "early access" beta joining in
