——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I've given this a quick go and it just feels like cod unfortunately. Small maps, sprinting around everywhere at lightning speed, kill die respawn, kill die respawn etc.

Doesn't feel like Battlefield unfortunately.

Runs silky smooth at max settings though.

Back to Arma Reforger for me.
Same. Played for 20 mins, just felt like COD.

Battlefield peaked with BF4, glad it's still active.

Deletes the beta and will ignore this crap.

I think I'll buy it when the standard version is around £20.

It's better than 2042, but that's not saying much, it's just not worth £70.

So essentially, reading through the posts...

Its like BF3
Its not like Battlefield
Its like CoD
Its not like CoD
The TTK is too high
The TTK is just right
The gunplay feels like Bad Company 2 or the older BFs
The gunplay doesnt feel like BF

:D

It's just massive cluster **** on every map I've played. People literally coming from every direction non-stop. Capping and keeping a control point is so difficult unless you're part of the constant zerg running from A to B to C to A to E etc. If the maps were bigger and everything was a little less frantic I'd be inclined to buy it. I'll try some more over the weekend and see if I change my mind.

I think I'm just old now, the TTK is too high for me. Runs well, looks great but it's just to frantic for me now.

I like the time to kill, wouldnt like it to be any longer, managed to play 1 game and now, after it loads it goes to a battlefield screen and just keeps loading and screen flashing, the alpha was loads better than this beta lol

Just did my first couple of matches and imo, I'd agree with the ttk is too high opinions. Also , dont know if its the aim assist or not but a lot of times the kills are like laser accurate. I've only been on small cramped maps so might be better on larger maps but right now its all much too quick (in movement, gameplay and kills), needs slowing down, as it stands currently the ttk is making it too much like first to shoot wins, with little opportunity to turn a fight around.

So TTK is too high in your opinion then you say the TTK is that first to shoot wins, thats one big contradiction in the same paragraph :)

Hmm a shame to say I've been playing all day and its been absolutely fine - the last hour however.. I'm presuming a provider has worked out how to bypass the safe boot thing.. :/

How is that a contradiction? Not sure that I follow...first to shoot wins, meaning that the time to kill is quick enough that the 2nd person doesnt have time to turn the fight around , not sure how thats a contradiction, could you explain?

Ahh...wait I see...sorry, I meant that the TTK is too low lol...trouble with trying to quickly write a post in between fighting :)

One plus for the quick TTK though is that as a medic I have a near constant supply of people to revive :)

Early days yet but in my , which shooter shall I play most question for later this year, Arc Raiders is my choice, but will see how BF6 develops over the coming months

To be fair, I need to see some bigger maps though, these tight close quarters counterstrike arena type of maps have never really been my bag, would like to see how it feels on some medium/large maps where you arent tripping over an enemy every 10 secs
