——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

What fps are people getting with the 9070xt going to fit mine tomorrow as was unplayable on my 3070
What’s the rest of your build? I’ve got a few mates running 3060s that are happily playing at 1080p 90-120fps with no issues.

I have some reservations with the current state of the game but overall still enjoying it, especially when playing with buddies.

Recon is an absolute useless class in it's current form. You may as well run Assault with a sniper as a secondary and you'll be much more versatile and have some survivability, plus the maps don't lend themselves to the class much. Liberation peak being the exception. I think there needs to be a glint hider or reduction perk that can be unlocked which would help, but also counter that with allowing only maybe 1 Recon per squad so it doesn't just turn into a paparazzi explosion on the larger maps. :D
Larger maps - Liberation Peak feels like half of an old BF map and I'm not sure if Firestorm will be full size as the original, but it seems like they've had to reduce map size to keep performance up due to the destruction.
TTK feels a little too fast and could be reduced a bit more.
Movement is too fast overall and feels like it's chasing the wrong demographic for what BF is about. We don't want Mil-Sim, but also, don't want Apex/CoD movement either and I think it's too close to the latter.

Still looking forward to what comes next week in the second part of the Beta but I'm a little on the fence about the game as it seems a scaled down version of what BF used to be.

Not sure about the cat girl but this one is fairly standard no? This is just someone who has spent a decent amount of time in Kovaaks. I couldn’t do the first flicks like he does but the second would be a non-issue for tracking.

If you come from a game with a higher TTK you’re used to better tracking (OW, Finals, Marvel Rivals etc.)

That's got to be an issue elsewhere, I was running it just fine with an 8Gb GTX 1660 @ 5760x1080 (triple monitor) on auto settings and it I have to say, ran beautifully!
Reinstalling nvidia driver and adjusted some settings in the game, will give it another try.

Haven't bothered with the beta but watching people play just makes me want to fire up BF4 again - with some fixes it would be by far the better game.

Theres a vid few pages back explaining the mouse input is spot on and you need to get good his words not mine :) but i do agree with him :P

It's funny cause i can boot up an old shooter like call of duty 4, or counter strike 2, or battlefield 3, overwatch 1 et. and i have zero complaints about their mouse controls in any of those games

only got the pc in april, ryzen 9800x3d and a 9070 xt, is there a way i can switch it on and what does it affect ?
Just boot to.your bios and turn it on. It only.takes a.moment to do. I'd Google your mb make and where it is and there will.likely be a video to show you how

Played for 3.5 hours last night and i was loving it to be honest. I’m seriously rusty as well ive not played anything for about 3 months and that was CS2 which couldn’t be more different.

It’s a definite buy for me.

This is why classes should be weapon locked as standard. People will just play any class with any weapon and the game/classes kinda loose their identity. What's the point giving assault the spawn beacon so they can use it more aggressively when you’ll just get assault players camped up mountains with snipers.

I played some games last night and actually enjoyed them but I main concerns are the map sizes, vehicles and lack of server browser. Maps in beta are too small and apparently main game with feature some bigger maps but how many? If it's just one or two then that not enough imo. Vehicles currently feel horrible. Great thing with BF games is the variety of play, get bored with infantry, go drive a tank or fly a chopper for a bit but in BF6 choppers fly like bricks and land vehicles feel floaty. And why third person view. Matchmaking ruins in also. Why cant you atleast choose which map to play on. Sometimes you just want to play on a certain map, if most of the maps are going to be COD style and the final game only have 2 or so BF style maps I don't want to be playing all night to finally get the map I came on to play. Give us a server browser!
