Just a heads up re: customer service.

My Embody started to make a clicking noise when I moved or tilted. Not every time but felt like mechanism was getting caught. Emailed support and they asked for a video so they could assess. Within 3 days got a call from them to confirm it’s an issue with the tilt mechanism and they will be sending me out a brand new chair and taking the old one. Had it about 3 years. Unbelievable service

A Great case for buying a new one . Is similar to people buying used 5090s on EBAY for more then a new one cost or a little saving with no warranty. Warranty really matters

I also had a good experience with my RMA. My gas lift failed and no longer held the chair up with me in it. I emailed them and I was asked for a video. I explained to them I didn't have an easy way to take one and they said they were happy to accept photos of the label, the chair at its highest and lowest point, and a description of how long it took to sink.

They sent a very pleasant man out within a few days who was at my house less than 10 minutes fitting a new one. I appreciate them not just replacing the entire chair for a serviceable part like the gas lift.

My chair will be 3 years old in November. I had the gas lift replaced a few months ago.

Regarding a repair with mine the guy in support said it could be repaired but the parts would be coming from the US and it’s a bit of a pain at the moment (make of that what you will haha!) so they’d prefer to just swap it out. Was genuinely shocked, assumed I’d have to send it off and wait weeks. Guess that’s part of why you pay you do for them.

On another note my new chair has just arrived driver unpacked it and put my old one in the box so didn’t even have to get rid of packaging haha!

Anyone on the fence about getting one of these chairs, it’s easily the best I’ve had and the bonus is they look so nice.

Pic for reference
