Freeman of the Land / Bonkers Theories

Precisely why I shall make provisions for her. I'm not too fussed about how I look to people but I know he's attempted to poison my aunt and that side of the family. I've never discussed any of what happened with them from my point of view.

My wife keeps bugging me to write a book about his antics.

Even if just for your own private purposes, getting the whole saga written down sounds like a worthwhile exercise.

Had my initial call this afternoon.

I can sit on my hands and do nothing, he can go to court to have me removed, however this is extremely expensive and a protracted affair for him, it would involve a judge, based on the amount of CCJs and other court based issues I'm sure he will want to avoid that, this would also require a solicitor wanting to work with him. There is no mechanism to remove me, just because we fell out.

As it stands I shall give him two options, maintain the status quo, or make me a fair offer for the 25% share in his house which is valued around 550k.

**** yeah drew, good on you.
We are over 4 years later in this thread and what you have been going through.
Really do hope this means a positive resolution for you.

Thanks, time has been a great healer, at this current time I pity him.

His favourite phrase was "Actions have consequences", i guess he was right.

There will be more to this saga, standby for the next instalment!

The sad thing is he'll still think he's 100% right.
The worst thing is you've lost your Dad through a form of mental illness.

Nothing sad about it from my perspective. I do get the sentiment though, a lot of people think of it from their own father/son relationship angle, I don't have any of those great moments or experiences. He's a truly horrendous person.

He is classic NPD, I'm far better off without him in my life.
Grey rocking him was the only choice, until I had the business I couldn't do it, that was his power.

So I get that he was never really nice anyway before he went mental.
My Dad was my best mate for decades, I played in bands with him from the age of 12 but 7 years before he died I found out some horrible things about him that were kept away from me.
I was ordered to be civil to him and not bring things up but also lucky I only saw him about 4 times a year for 30 minutes.
I feel guilty that I haven't cried for his death but cried for Ozzy.

No. She is married (3rd husband) but he's the same. They both sound off at eachother and echo eachother's opinions.
My folks are like this, they have nothing to do but watch GB News all day and it basically rots their brains. Both caught COVID whist on holiday which for my mum caused a few other issues afterwards (AF) but it wasn't the virus that caused it, it was the vaccine that they had had 12 months previously.

They aren't down the rabbit hole but I could easily see it happening.
