Yeah they have their place but play a decent CD and soundbar lack in hifi stereo. For TV shows good enough but action movies you'll notice the difference

Gotcha. This looks ok to me - just need to fully thread in those 2 long screws as they stop the bottom of the bracket being lifted away. Doesn't need to be done up tight, just enough that you can't remove the TV by tilting the bottom forward.Expert drawing:

I’ve screwed them up, so assume the are up against the metal of the bracket (there are no holes) which I assume keeps it stable

Honestly, these days I'm suspicious of black Friday deals. Certainly don't assume it's the best price you'll see all year.
I guess waiting until the G6 is released is the sensible thing to do.
My TV is about to have its 11th birthday so it’s starting to feel like it’s time to move on.

Speaking of moving on, I just peeled the protective plastic off a C2 I brought back from work today. It's been here a month or so but I hadn't wall mounted it and got the height right.
You can see how much more reflective the protective coating is. It was driving us crazy watching during the daytime! The bare screen has much darker reflections and is slightly less dazzling/direct reflecting too.
