Okay to use AG Polar Blast, Polar Wash and Koch Chemie Protector Wax on a newly coated Gtechniq Platinum ceramic finish?
Why would you?
Edit: looks like Platinum uses C1 which isn’t hydrophobic, so I now understand why you’d want to.
Personally I’d take the time to put a layer of Exo on it and it’ll bead like crazy for a long time. But yes you can use any spray on sealant that’s water based.
I wouldn’t use something solvent based like Fusso Coat wax as it’ll degrade the ceramic.
Because it’s gtechniq I’d also use their own version like Hydro Coat or C2 (liquid crystal)
Cheers, thanks for the info. I did Google it and read that as long as it was a PH neutral shampoo/snowfoam then it would be okay. Just wasn't sure about the KC PW![]()
... but Surfex is uber effective at decreasing.
There's actually a red nylon Gtechniq bag in the boot full of stuff, I should probably open it and have a look!!!As I say should be fine but I bet they have some terms on the warranty that it must be maintained with Gtechniq products
I’d probably use hydro coat or C2 as they’re both very good products for what they’re trying to do.

I'll be using this on a bronze car but I've also got grey and white cars which I'll be doing later. Thank for the tips applicators and cloths! What colour car do you have?
Buy their panel wipe for prep too - it’s the best one on the market for removing polish residue before hand.
Then a 50/50 IPA wipe after

just come back from picking up my order from "clean and shiny"
took a lot longer to get there than i thought it would
nearly 2 hours
i was stuck behind a wide load Tractor from stokenchurch (M40 J6) all the way to Reading
then i got stuck a quarter of the way back from a motorcycle doing the same speed as the tractor i was behind going to reading !
Then i had an idiot behind me most of the way home
just not my day lol
came back with Nitrile gloves, 2 packs of Rag company Creature towels and their laundry cleaner
nothing exciting
expecting my journey to take about 3 hours total, nearly 4 !
at least it took me 45 mins to wash the car, wheels and dry
isn't the postage and packaging cheaper than fuel to get there :
stuffs gone up - touchless has gone up from £7 to £9 at ultimate finish over 7 months - I'll consider 5L@27 - txs kier
cleaning the interior pleather is one thing you can do better on hot days , I usually use a foam pad and create a bit of lather, and wipe off with damp cloth
How do you people clean your exhaust tips? I've tried an alloy wheel cleaner spray and wire wool...it works to an extent but I've still got a lot of black suit left.
Help!
I was taking my elderly nan (95) to an appointment in my car, and despite being assured she had full control of her facultys she had some sudden diarrhoea issue and my leather ventilated seats are filled with stinking poo!
First car I've ever had with cooled seats (and therefore the little holes the air comes out of) and I've no idea how I'm supposed to clean them out.
Getting old is grim.
I'd get professional help. Phone a good valeter/detailer and they'll have the right stuff to sort it.Help!

I've not done that for a while, I currently have a 335D Touring with black tips so no need.
I also have an RS turbo which I dont use very often.
It has a 4" Mongoose stainless system and I use Solvol Autosol on that to good effect.
