Tabletop Warhammer?

that nightbringer model... oh my... oh my indeed.

It's the kind of model that brings out all the "oh yes I've always been into Night Lords" crowd, who have never actually painted one model as such lol.

Edit. Clearly I was confused, I thought it was one of the Night lord's models lol.

Spooky ghosts in 40k. Also edited earlier post as thought it was a Night Lord model lol, Kindai threw me off by mentioning it as I was talking about the night Lords leak.

Really not sure about this one though, I don't really like the heavily mutated stuff which is why I think I gravitated towards NL/Red Corsairs etc as I associate the monsters/demons more with black legion etc.

I always thought the black legion less likely to have demons and mutations due to Thier non committal to any particular gods like the rest.

Was in my local shop called "Boyes" in Beverley yesterday and noticed they started selling Warhammer, like the small ones and the huge ones, and proper cheap too.

Dunno tbh, I think mutations are fluffy but daemons perhaps not. Ultimately it doesn't matter if course :)

Edit. Probably biased as GW tend to paint everything in black legion when representing Chaos.

Spend long enough in the service of the dark gods, and mutations are still possible.

The Black Legion isn't anti-chaos in the sense that some of the other traitor, nominally-chaos marines are; they're just Chaos Undivided, and it's still possible to be mutated, elevated or even become a Daemon Prince, albeit it rarely happens (see the lore of Be'lakor for why). Throw on top the lesser chaos dieties like Vashtorr and it becomes even more complicated.

Just got Kill Team : Tomb World reserved at my local hobby store :)

Damnit, thought that was the new raptor one for a minute, forgot it was 2026.

Stripped a load of minis yesterday for the first time in possibly years. Dread took ageeeees because it had 400 changes of mind on it.

Still can't decide what to do with SM. I almost want 4 armies, Salamanders as they were my first painted minis and have a character, DA because deathwing knights are cool, iron hands, just because I like the black and white combo plus have character, and IF because if I can get a yellow I like (and make notes so I can replicate) then that will be grand.

I've got a few heavy intecessors I did but failed to replicate the yellow on something else. Was going to strip those too but decided to use as experiment for Grimdark style, because ultimately it shouldn't matter too much then with shade variations.

Just stripped my fenrisian wolves. Had them done with contrast but was never fully happy on how the ended up. Plus I wan't them in different colours

Looks like Tomb World sold out in less than 30 minutes on the GW website.
I managed to get a preorder from a local shop.
do any of you play kill team? I've been collecting the models for a while, but only got round to playing it in the last couple of weeks. It's complicated, but fun. I feel that there will be a bit of knowledge/rules hump to get over; games will proceed much faster when we don't have to consult the rules so often. Therefore I feel obliged to try and play reasonably regularly so I don't forget what I learned!
