Assuming you have mismatched tyres now? Does that affect the handling at all?
During my ridiculous amount of research on rubber, I read that some tyres, when paired up, work together to provide more grip in the rain. Dunno how true that is tho.

Yes, and not one jot.
The RS11 on the front will on paper be more “grippy” but for the riding I do they’ll be no discernible difference whatsoever.

Used to pop up there on me track bikes to give em a test runWent to Upottery today, then over to Smeatharpe - had a wander around the Nissen hut museum, and grabbed a photo near the old WW2 airfield
It things like this that remind me when i was far younger i never cared one bit and just struck on whatever tyre i could get hold off

Most I've managed is a Metzeler sport touring on the read and a 99R on the front. Or the opposite way round. Whilst I waited for whichever to run out.
At the weekend I took the 'barback' riser off. It raised by around 30mm and brought the bars back by roughly the same. I wanted to see/feel the difference as I put them on a matter of weeks after I bought it.
Subjective of course but when I finally found some twisty bits it felt easier enough to throw around that I emitted a manly hysterical laugh.
Am going to Provence in a few weeks and am looking forward to it even more now!

God knows how many times I came off my bikes in my younger days.
It actually pretty scary just thinking of how many times now.

Bike's a beautWith being off work this week so i bought some Tickets and took the bike to Jersey for a short day trip

Just a shame i had to take so much luggage for such a very short trip
As the weather forecast gave heavy rain so i took with me my waterproof over jacket & trousers, Waterproof thicker gloves and a complete change of clothes just incase.
