Online coffee beans retailer

I bought from them because of the (gimmick?) of the tins and the coffee is enjoyable enough (the high octane is well named), but that said I'll probably stick with Square mile red brick at home and Amazon cheap beans for my machine at work.
Just to add I'm no coffee expert nor do I claim to be, and just want to find a reliable bean that I can set my machine up for and be done with it with minimal faff.

I'm out of coffee from Redber so I'm about to commit a sin and buy some supermarket beans from Sainsburys. Not sure what's out there but if I order from Redber, i'll overspend!

Edit: Ended up getting Lidl Deluxe Nicaragua beans.
Edit 2: Christ, I'm nearing my finest grind setting and its still blasting out at 3g per sec on my machine!
Edit: 3rd dial in attempt at setting 2 (1 is finest) on my Sette 270 results in 1.5-2g per sec so I need to go finer! I've never gone this high!
Edit 4: Sunday morning - Sette on grind setting 1 - I've never gone this high, results in 2g per second so I just gave up and binned them. There's no room for further grind adjustments if I'm at max.

- This is the stuff

I had some Morrison's Best of range and it was quite nice. I even bought pre-ground for the office and the medium roast is actually medium looking.

Morning guys, new to the group so nice to meet you all :) I'm new to the coffee scene and just trying to find some more info on the best places to buy my coffee. Does anybody have any suggestions on where is best for me to start?

I buy most of my coffee from RAVE - who appear to be local to you as well. They do so many - I'd imagine you'd not do wrong by popping in and having a chat with them.

Personally, I would start with sometihng like Union from the Supermarket first, if you want to and have to get it direct online then there are lots, Rave, Wogan, Origin, Method, Square Mile to name a few.

I absolutely love these little tins. Genuinely considering ditching the airscape and having 3 or 4 tins lined up.

My favourite coffee is from Guatemala, and these guys are up there with the best (at a sensible price point) so I will be using them again. Their prices are on par with the likes of Rave so I don't think you're paying that much of a premium for the tin.

On a side note, the half caff from Square mile at the moment is very very good. I don't normally like natural process beans or light roasts, but I could quite happily drink this one every day.

Been mostly drinking kirkland espresso blend for a while out a french press and i really like it pretty sure the coffee snobs in here would turn their nose up at it

Ordered their Geisha to compare to mine and the one with Chinese on the front (mostly for the tin).

Thought I would share a online coffee roasters that I have been really impressed with, I have tried a few. I was on a hike a few months ago and noticed a van with Peak Bean on the side of it outside a house (probably where the bloke lives) and decided to give it a go, now I'm normally a person that only really like single origin but his blends are really good, website is https://peakbean.co.uk/

Tried the royal blend this morning, to be fair i went with a light roast but it's so watery and the beans have a strange (not bad but weird) smell to them

Have you received them yet?

Got them today. One thing that is different to the tin that i bought. It comes with that plastic plug under the lid, instead of their 1 time seal.

Anyway, it was roasted on the 25th so probably could try some tonight but best wait until the weekend.

(The Chinese characters....the bottom 2 does say coffee however the top 3 makes no sense. It could be, and most likely a made up name, however it is a mix of simplfied and traditional Chinese and Chinese people don't do that.)

Still, i do loev the tins.
