What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

I’m currently playing Indiana Jones. It looks great and it absolutely nails the setting and atmosphere - it’s just like another Indiana Jones film. The puzzles and exploration are good. The combat is kinda rough but manageable, and the stealth is easy enough, until you screw up in a heavily populated area and then you’re just toast.

The steam global achievements make for interesting reading… just over half of players have completed the mission to finish the Vatican, the first area, and only 42% have done the mission to finish Gizeh, the second area. There must be a lot of people there who hardly got started with it.

I know a few people who got bored and dropped the game in the Vatican. It's a pity, because I do love the game, but it leads off with its weakest major area. You'll note the drop off between the end of the Vatican and the end of Gizeh isn't actually that large.

Feel a bit behind the curve on this one (it's nearly 10 years since it originally released) but finally playing and enjoying undertale, what a fantastic game/experience so far.

Still Stellaris (now with a few dlc + mods) , and when I need a break Grimarillion (Grim Dawm mod) or Roguetech (Battletech mod). Finally picked up CP2077 ultimater as well but that can wait

Some of the crew I work with're gamers in their twenties so i tewll them that you gamers born after the year 2000 don't know you're born and one of them asked if some of the games I play run on a potato (A lot of these genuine retro games/Retro style games like Wizordum and Prodeus and Donut Dodo're just as good as the new AA/AAA titles.

SKYRIM SE

Don't get me wrong. I also play modern AA/AAA titles (Wolfenstein The New Collosus, DOOM ETERNA/THE OUTER GODS DEATHWING/chaos gate 2 AND ANY THAT'LL RUN ON MY LAPTOP BUT THOSE OPTIONS'RE RUNNING VERY LOW AS THEY'RE ALL ON UNREAL 5 NOW).The way i see ti, gamers're going off AA?AAA titles is becuase oif the constantneed to make your gaming rig as beefy as possible to stand any chance of running that 'must have' AAA game aND the sixty quid price tag and the massive amount oif hard drive space (that's before the double figure DLC). One of the reason I've got into retor pixel graphics retro games and boomer shoorets is that thewy don't make demands on CPU. Memory, Graphcs processor and take up massive abounts of hard drive

If anybody who was into piojt and clickies in the '90s. There's a few good Lovecraftian point and click adventures but I'd advise you to ready the stories they're based on first. and Yes I still play the original DOOM (the crtticis call in gratutious violence but in a job like mje, games liker DOOM and Carmageddon're stress relief).

Are you alright?
You seem to be having a conversation with yourself? And getting rather tense?
