——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

The retarded 120 degree FOV makes it look worse, like what kind of bug eyed people use 120 FOV, damn..

You should have done the user.cfg tweaks with the core count and threads, it made a massive difference.
That also seemed about 50/50 whether it helped people or not, and ofc the user shouldn't have to do that. Didn't see anyone with e cores saying it helped. Most people had 8 core 16 thread CPUs.

Addressing the movement definitely makes me a little more interested in the full game. Is there any more info on new maps and their sizes?

It was discussed a little a couple of pages back, some data miners have figured out that the likes of Mirak Valley will be quite significant in size (comparible to some of the largest BF maps), aswell as firestorm which will be the two biggest launch maps. All out size means nothing though. Take Liberation Peak for example. medium sized map but due to map design ended up effectively with two bowls with three choke points to channel people through. This lead to very linear play and little scope for out of the box moves.

I'm quite optimistic for it but what these maps deliver remains to be seen, apparently Mirak Valley and Firestorm will be coming imminently to BF Labs (closed beta). However we wont hear much, if anything, as thats all covered by NDA.

The old Battlelog stats for BF3/4 were amazing, especially for one reason. It shows how many dogtags you'd "collected". Glad they're still doing it for bf6. :D

Didn't have time to play the beta beyond an hour the first weekend. Did feel it was a little bit to fast and hectic and the maps were far to tiny. We were using such a small section of the maps though I'm not too concerned by it. I think we have seen half of the maps though which doesn't seem great.
