Slightly off-topic but can someone recommended a really nice and strong smelling shower gel for men? I currently use this brand but looking for something else as well:

I use cremo body wash. A little more expensive but the fragrance is excellent, and strong smelling.

I don't have the money for fancy fragrances....but I'm addicted to buying Zara ones... approaching close to 20 bottles...seoul is apparently invictus and bogoss vibrant leather is apparently like tom ford Tuscan leather. Can't get enough of those two

Didn’t even realise this thread existed! I used to wear PDM Althair as my go-to, but since discovering French Avenue Liquid Brun, I’ve completely switched over — it’s very, very close in scent. Off the back of that, I also grabbed French Avenue Royal Blend and Aether, which are both great additions.


That said, I still haven’t found anything that comes close to Roja Elysium (special occasions) — can’t seem to dupe that one no matter what I try!

Any thoughts on good smells for men over 50? Used to wear CK Eternity and Chanel Allure for Men but not sure if they are age appropriate anymore. Thinking of trying Dior Sauvage.

My sense of smell is almost non-existant, so I kinda have to ask others for opinions...

I was passing through duty free in Doha airport and tried out Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and thought it was superb - plus my missus adores anything with vanilla tones.

As much as I like the the fragrance I don't want to shell out the best part of £300 for 100ml so what is the closest scent you can get to it from places like The Essence Vault?
