What PC games are you playing?

Take it you really like it then. I played about 10 hours when I bought it about 6 months after it came out then decided to wait till it would be complete.
Gonna go for the officer/buff build, What's your go to class?

They just really nailed the atmosphere and the soundtrack is brilliant too. I've only done one full play through despite 311h, I played as the blade dancer for the one I actually finished, but in the other I went for a snipey build, but I'm not good with it like some are and make horrendously overpowered things. Think I'm going Psyker for the next one.

I'm terrible I bought their next game dark heresy £80 later no intention of trying the alpha that comes with it. And probably won't touch it for a few years till it's complete aswell lol

Yeah that is a bit mad for something you'll only play once, which by the time all the DLC is out will also cost like £10-20

Still haven't got round to playing RT ; keep putting it off because a DLC is "on the horizon". I think I should remedy this.

Depends on if the additions are worth a fiver:

The Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition includes the base game, all content from the Special Edition, plus exclusive bonuses for Red Dead Online, such as bonus outfits, rank bonuses, extra weapons, and a free survivor camp theme. Story mode bonuses from the Ultimate Edition include a bank robbery mission, an exclusive gang hideout, a dappled black thoroughbred horse, and talismans and medallions for gameplay boost

I might get it on Steam as I have it on Rockstar Launcher (standard edition) but much prefer things on Steam for the sake of £20.

I remember buying this years and and my PC really struggled to run it, so much so that I didn't play past the first few minutes.

I rebought it the other week and have stuck the VR mod on it so that'll be my first playthrough.
Haha blimey, I can't imagine playing it in VR. I bet it's incredible?

Funny you say that about your PC, because my PC could barely run it also. To the point that I had to stop playing about half way through due to an area with a bunch of dynamic lights which took the fps down to literally 1.

There is so much content as is that I don't think future DLC is a blocker. The void shadows one or whatever it's called was quite substantial, not sure about current one.

If it grabs you like it did me then you'll likely want to take some different paths on future playthroughs anyway. Don't think I've ever played a CRPG with so many significant decisions to make, but that fits in with your role in the game.

Got RDR2 ~Ultimate on steam now and resuming the story from my R* cloud save. Maybe it's this controller but it feels nicer now to play and I'm engrossed in the characters more than I was previously as got bored.

So playing RDR1 and 2 back to back.

AC: Shadows, 12 hours in, slow to get going but once your out in the world after the intro (not the greatest start to a game) it's got way better, visually it's impressive at points and the soundtrack has nailed the setting well.

i keep dipping into Elite dangerous and on holiday played a bunch of lightweight games on my steamdeck (terraria, alien colonial marines, braid, crumble)

but i just cant get enough of helldivers 2 at the moment and most of my proper game time going into that. i love it... other than a few bugs (not the good alien kind) i cant really knock it - or at least not the automaton or "bugs" side of it... not a huge fan of the illuminate.

i just hope we get more maps, biomes and maybe a new enemy race type...... i would pay for that DLC.

edit and who said big brother isn't watching... a new update just popped up on my phone detailing the next expansion with a new map for termanids and new mission types.

replaying red alert remastered and started playing ever space on my steam deck when i was out the house the other day, ohh god ever space is so much easier with mouse and key board on a 32 inch screen lol

the second one just came back in stock on cd keys for 15 quid odd so gonna buy that later :)

I've been playing Roboquest, think Dead Cells if FPS. It's a couple years old but I picked it up on the cheap.

It's well enough regarded and quite a lot of fun. I started on Hard, finished it and unlocked the next difficulty and it's kicking my rump... and there's still 3 more difficulties to go

Started to play Titan Quest Anniversary Edition a couple weeks ago and still finding it fun. Played it a bit in 2021 and the game has changed since then (or at least from what I remember from it, which might be incorrect since it been 4 years ! lol ). Ended up grinding a bit at the end of act 1 but think I gonna give that up and continue to next act. See if I can managed play it through until Legendary level or if I run out of steam before that ! :p
