Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [22nd - 25th August 2025]

To be fair, probably about as humble as the geordies would be if it was them who had gotten the late goal. Sports fans are not generally known for humility as highlighted by crowd chants at every stadium every weekend :D
put it this was some fans on here are a little more humble in victory and defeat than others.

I think when there's been a week of nonsense from Newcastle fans it's kinda expected.

This from the BBC is funny tbh.

1 got sent off and 2 got injured with one in tears. They sure got "into them" .
Care to point out the nonsense from Newcastle fans this week on here? Scouse class right there, enjoying players getting injured, your the first ones to shout and scream when something happens you don’t like and people don’t give the “respect” deserved

Has there been any info on how serious those injuries are yet, Newcastle seemed to lose a bunch of players in that match, plus the ban for Gordon and the concussion issue, its probably just as well that their next match is against Leeds rather than one of the top teams as they will be quite depleted.

Anyone remember when newcastle beat arsenal a few seasons back with a dubious goal and the newcastle fans here were posting pics of arteta with that crying filter and giving it the big un about lego head. Of course a little bit of banter at their expensive and the toys come out the pram and they start bleating on about being humble in victory. If you can't take it don't dish it out lads

Sandi looks like a dislocated shoulder and Jo a torn groin

As a neutral I’d like to point out that’s not remotely the same as the one Utd were given. The Fulham player literally swung him around to the floor did he not? That one above happens in every game and is rarely given, I suspect Liverpool players were doing same thing last night.
Agree. This is a grab... I'd like to see these called, but they never are, so until the directive changes this is just how it'll be.

The one given to Manchester Utd was a full on judo throw.

Yep revelling in Joelinton fouling non stop and Bruno's elbow he got away with.

Can't complain about my new seat. I'm a bit gutted as I had one of the best seats at Goodison for about 20 years, but the new place feels good. I can't wait to see it under the lights.
